The white-furred she-cat stepped out of her den and ruffled her fur, basking in the sunlight glowing down on her from the skies above. It was a wonderful day, a day when Azurestar would go hunting, but she had to watch her Clan, and who would watch her Clan when she was gone? Fawncloud, her deputy, often went along with the hunting patrols.

He murmured in his sleep and rolled around in his bedding, flicking an ear at the commotion everyone else was making.

Wildpaw

He yelped in surprised and jumped up quickly, startled out of his dream state. He blinked the sleep out of his eyes and glanced over at the cat that had stepped on his paw, now throbbing, Thornstep. Wildpaw flattened his ears but headed out of the den anyways and glanced around, looking for his mentor, Wolftooth.

Fangpaw- Tom- Tags; Wildpaw

Fangpaw got to his paws with an irritated huff and walked out of the warriors den. As he walked past Wildpaw he flicked his ear in greeting.

"You better be! You know very well you should have been up quite a while ago, Adderpaw!" He hissed. "Now, meet me in the training hollow, I'll be there in a moment." He commanded the apprentice. He jerked his head to Fangpaw. "I may not be your mentor, but I am a senior warrior, Fangpaw, and theres work to be done, as I said. We can't have you sleeping in like a dormouse while everyone else works, that wouldn't be fair, would it?" He was almost nose to nose with the apprentice, hissing. He held the apprentice's glare for a few heartbeats, but then got up and padded to meet his apprentice.

Acornpaw noticed her leader, Azurestar, step out of her den. "Hello, Azurestar!" She mewed cheerfully. She immediately realized who she was speaking to, and bent her head formally.

Blossomdawn woke up to all the commotion and padded tiredly out of the den, and noticed her apprentice next to the apprentice den looking quite grumpy. "Hey, Fangpaw!" She called over her apprentice. "How about some hunting? You need to practice for your upcoming assessment." She mewed warmly to her apprentice.

She noticed a small figure sitting alone and padded up to the female warrior, greeting her kindly with a dip of her head. "Hello, Starlingswoop. How are you?" Azurestar purred.

As Fangpaw stepped out of the den and glanced over at him, flicking an ear, he nodded respectfully at his fellow apprentice. He felt bad that the lean male was getting picked on by Thornstep, but the senior warrior was rude anyways and treated all apprentices unfairly, acting as if he were in control all of the time.

Fangpaw lashed his tail, with half a mind to shred the loud warrior's ears off. He might be his senior warrior, but he was in no way wise. He flattened his ears and stalked away, biting his tongue so hard he thought it might bleed. Fangpaw looked at his mentor, his tail still flicking with irritation. Yet, he was eager for anything to sink his claws into, and he respected his mentor more then that featherbrain, Thornstep. "Okay," he meowed.

Starlingswoop - Warrior- She-cat - Tags; No one

Starlingswoop looked over to her leader and dipped her head respectfully. "Quite well, though I would be better if the sun would be a bit brighter," she mewed.

Blossomdawn licked one of Fangpaw's ears warmly. "Cheer up, grump. Come on, the clan needs to be fed, and that's not going to happen if you're moaning around." She meowed softly.

Morningpaw got up and stretched. She saw that her mentor, Swanfeather, was still enjoying a nice sleep. She got up and carefully walked past his nest to get to the herbs. She counted all the piles roughly, and realized she was low on Catmint. She knew they needed some for the upcoming Leaf-bare, theres always sickness. She wondered how they could be so slow, though. Perhaps they didn't use it and it got old so Swanfeather threw it out, and left one or two leaves that were still capable of healing.

Adderpaw lowered his head, "Yes, Thornstep". Making a quick exit, the apprentice left for the training hollow, deciding to skip on getting any fresh kill so that he didn't waste any more time. He didn't want to anger his mentor anymore, especially when he was the one being a mouse-brain. He should've been awake earlier, and he knew it. If he ever wanted to be deputy, or leader, then he's need to train hard to become a great warrior first.

Hawkfang woke up and stretched each of his limbs in turn before standing up and exiting the den. He didn't have an apprentice, thankfully, and so didn't have to spend time training one. He didn't have the patience to have an apprentice. Peering around the clearing, he eventually padded over to a quiet spot and sat down, washing his paw.

Fangpaw nodded, knowing that thundering around camp angrily wasn't going to feed the clan. He needed to keep in in check, well for now at least. "Alright, let's go," he meowed, forcing enthusiasm into his meow.

Starlingswoop looked over to her leader and dipped her head respectfully. "Quite well, though I would be better if the sun would be a bit brighter," she mewed.

"It'll be fun." She mewed. "How about we hunt near the stream? Prey like to go there in the early mornings to get a drink after a long night sleep." She suggested while they padded into the forest.

Yellowpaw yowled as the senior warrior stamped on his tail, "hey! You shouldn't be doing dat!" It was only his second day of being an apprentice.
