Talonfang yawned in his nest, shaking out his dusty fur. Why does all this durt always get on it..... He muddered crossly. Lying back down, Talonfang tried to go to sleep again, but there was a chorus of distressed meows outside of the den. Er, what's the problem now? He growled, peaking outside of his den.

The warrior looked at Lakepelt, a look of worry flashing across her face. "Now now.. let's not try and think of the negatives. Maybe.. maybe they're just walking around the camp, somewhere?" Silverfrost replied, but still quite unsure. "I saw Salmonstrike walking out of the camp earlier though, if that helps," She mewed, her eyes moving towards Talonfang who looked like he just woke up. "Salmonstrike and Brightkit are gone.. they aren't in the nursery."

Ashstar awoke to sad murmurs around her camp. Curious, the lithe she cat slipped out of her near and into the bright daylight. Immediately, she saw the sombre looks on her clanmate's faces and knew something was very wrong. "Lakepelt? What's wrong? Is some cat sick?" Ashstar inquired, alarmed.

They are, are they? Of course they are, that just seems like the thing that would happen to us right when things where peaceful. He grunted, trying not to show how worried he was. Kits where his favourite, especially because he was the only elder, and it got pretty lonely in the elders den all alone.

Biting his lip, the grey tom's eyes drifted to Ashstar. He struggled to find the words to say, though, in the end, all that came out was, "Brightkit and Salmonstrike are missing. They're not in the nursery.."
His voice trailed off.

He turned his gaze to Talongfang, his voice dripping with despair. "I don't think they would have gotten sick just like that, and if they were sick, they should have stayed in their nests, and possibly even gone to see Icefrost..." He paused for a moment, before continuing. "Speaking of Icefrost, where is he?"

Reedpaw awoke late that morning after having a relaxing dream of chasing butterflies around a clearing. She blinked open her yellow eyes slowly and then walked into the clearing curiosity gleaming in her eyes as the others all stood about. Hearing her mentors name she padded over. "What do you need Icefrost for?" she asked.
