I'm going to set up a date for Scorpion! He'll love it!" Or maybe be mad at Me for the rest of my life, he thought.

dragonfly with no-one [ she's open for anyone ]

a loud thunk echoed from capelin and silt's cave, a long, glea
ming dagger with no hilt sticking from the wall. dragonfly wo
rmed it out of the stone, checking for any damage to the met
al. luckily, none showed, and the dagger was light and well-b
alanced. feeling proud of her own creation, the hybrid turned
toward her sleeping corner, gently placing the blade on a rac
k she had set up with hooks for various weapons. dragonfly r
olled her neck, then carefully removed a recently-made sword
adorned with an intricate design on the blade. she had no for
ge here, so until she could request one or make her own, her
smithing had to be delayed for now. she was a weaponsmith
in training, taught herself, but was the best in the rainforest.
not many rainwings knew had to forge metals, exactly. not m
any nightwings either that she knew of personally. dragonfly
replaced the sword and began rummaging through one of the
bags on her bed, which was simply a pile of sand lined with a
few rainforest plants. she changed her ruff to blue with hints
of gold, which was the only thing she could change color, whil
e she brought out a scroll describing various weapons. unlike
a majority of the students, dragonfly wasn't worried about the
bomber. if they targeted her, they'd earn a knife in the throat.

the deep red nightwing let out an amused chuckle, all his stu
pidly itching bandages finally removed. "you have my thanks,
skylight. if it worked." nobility made a move for the door, bu
t paused in front of the skywing, giving her a genuine friendl
ier smile. "and don't worry. now that you've helped me, i've
decided not to add you to my list." he gave her a salute-like
gesture with two of his right talons, before turning and walki
ng leisurely out the doorway. of course, if nobility ever need
ed an animus, he'd give her a call. she'd learn to like him, e
ven after this. and even though he didn't know it himself, no
bility was beginning to like her.

"I doubt he would hate you for the rest of your life." She grinned and playfully gave him a little shove. "Maybe just most of it."

"Or maybe he'll even thank me!." He joked,before he realized, "Hey wait, you plucked that out of my mind! I wish I had that power. Then we could have thought conversations." He blabbed on. "Or If Me and Scorpion could telephathically comunicate with each other. A whole new world of prank possibilties! Speaking of which, we should probably go back to Scorpion now." Jackal started getting back to Scorpion.

Amber stalked down the hallway, listening for toucan noises. She saw Fallen Star [is Fallen Star the toucan whisperer?] and a Sandwing she didn't recognize.
