"Scary?" Carlee chuckled. "Certainly not! I haven't any claws," she purred, lifting her paw to show the young she-cat.

"Nobody needs cats like you," Eaglepaw meowed over her shoulder before breaking into a trot to get away from her.

Petaldrop was racing along, but got distracted and hit a tree. She let out a yowl of pain and rubbed her forehead with one of her paws. She let out a whimper. "That hurt!" Tears welled in her eyes, and she tried to tell herself that the tears were just because she hurt herself, but she knew she was crying because she made a huge mistake.

Emerald tilted her head. "Oh. I must be at the wrong place, then." She sighed.

Darkswift ear's flatten then pick up at the yowl. He ran towards it and mews. "Where are you?!"
