''I'm gonna take a walk.'' Sparrowpaw said. She turned around and walked outside. It seemed like Leaf-bare had lasted for a longer time than usual, but it was fine since it ended.

Specklekit sat down and watched Ashkit, then decided to clean the mousebile out of his mouth by using an oak leaf.

As Ashkit crawled away, he heard another whisper in his ear. It said, "The thing that fire hates most will rise to take over the forest." He was horrified, though unsure what it meant. "What does~" He couldn't finish talking, as he woke with a jolt in the real world.

"Ashkit!" Specklekit jumped up and licked his head. "You're okay!"

Ashkit;;

"THEY'RE GONNA TAKE OVER THE FOREST!" Ashkit shrieked, his eyes wide. "G-get Stripestar!"

Specklekit immediately started crying. "You're being scary." She cried.

"Please! Get him!" Ashkit meowed. "Go!"

Specklekit raced away to Stripestar. "Stripestar, Ashkit is being scary!"
