Beaver sighed. "I-I broke up with her. I can't be with her if she won't trust me, and I won't trust her."

''I hope not.'' Sparrowpaw whispered. She started licking him in an attempt to calm him down and wake him up.

Ashkit tried to stand, but couldn't. His back legs were broken in the fall. "Help me!" he wailed, tears forming in his eyes. Though nothing came. Just darkness.

( I want something terrible to happen to one of my characters but I never get the chance. You would assume that would be a good thing but it ain't. I'm saltier than the ocean itself.)

Sparrowpaw noticed Ashkit's legs weren't working. She felt them, and could feel a crack in them. ''What's happening?'' She whispered.

"What happened to his legs?!" Specklekit started crying more. That's when the voices in her head returned again. "I know what's happening! We need... Long grass and 4 sticks!"

Ashkit peered into the darkness when he saw a faint shining off in the distance, it seemed. He heaved himself forward, shedding tears as he did so because it hurt. The shining grew brighter as he neared it. For a moment, Ashkit thought it was his imagination, just the blood trail glistening behind him. But it couldn't be, when the shining was in front..
