Oakfrost watched as the big creatures the kittypets called 'Horses' trampled the ground, running around for no apparent reason. The pretty dappled she-cat jumped when fur brushed her own, but her gaze softened as she gazed at the kittypet. "Hello Cinder." she purred, rubbing her cheek along the tortoiseshells flank. Cinder mewed back, "Hello my brave warrior." Oakfrost closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, taking in the scents of her old home, and her mother. "Clan life is going well, but you remember me telling you about Tumble, right?" Cinder nodded, and tilted her head. "He hasn't come out of his house in a while, atleast, cause I haven't seen him." Oakfrost's whiskers twitched in amusement, "no mom, its because Tumble joined the clan and became Tumblefinch." Cinder purred and said, "That must've been pure joy for you." Oakfrost's eyes clouded with pain, "It was, until he fell for another she-cat..." Oakfrost buried her muzzle into her mother's fur, letting her tears soak Cinder's pretty soft coat. Cinder didn't mind and sat down, grooming her daughters coat comfortingly. "Shhhh... it's alright, perhaps his feelings are temporary, he is at that age..." Oakfrost's head snapped up, "Mom!" Cinder just laughed softly, gazing down at her daughter lovingly, You can stay at my 2legs barn for the night, it's like a buffet of mice!" Oakfrost purred but shook her head, "I need to get back to my clan" she mewed sadly, standing up and drawing a paw over her face. She said her goodbyes and made her way back across the moore, and into Willowclan territory.
(EDIT: My heart is breaking along with Oakfrost's! ;~;)
