Realizing the situation Frostkit wrinkled his nose, scampering outside to the sunlight. The white kit spotted the two she cat's on the fake rocks, and he tried to climb his way up to their side recognizing his clanmate Flamefall. "Flamefall Flamefall! Fogkit and mum are being lame and are busy." He jumped up a little bit, small claws digging into the strange covering before he fell back down, fluffy white fur covered in a fine layer of dirt. "It's boring here. Who is the weird smelling she cat?" He tilted his head from the ground looking up at Noel, mismatched eyes watching her intently. "You look funny."

flamefall laughed and followed noel to the obviously fake rocks, perching up on a flat and oddly-colored stone slightly lower than noel's. she gave a small snort at the pieces of rock practically chipping away at her claws, but she decided to ignore the alien feeling. the warrior chuckled at noel's question. "well, sometimes we have a whole bunch of kits in the clan at once" she paused, having the rather amusing thought of kits instantly becoming warriors. "thankfully, kits don't instantly become warriors. once they're six moons old they become apprentices, and they get trained by an experienced warrior... such as myself." she added jokingly. listening intently, she almost looked amused by the question. "me, having kits? nah, i don't have a mate for that." flamefall admitted nonchalantly. suddenly, a small voice caught the warrior's attention. glancing over the stones, her ears perked up as she met the eyes of frostkit. "that's a shame." she mewed to the kit. "oh, her? this is noel, she's a cat that lives here."

driven back into a tired slumber, jagger dozed silently in the loft. that was, until he felt small teeth sink into his tail. letting out a yowl of surprise, the tom jolted awake. thinking a rat had bitten his tail, he began to panic. however, upon closer inspection, he realized that it was only a kitten batting at and attacking his tail. slightly embarrassed at his fearful yowl, jagger rolled over and gave the kitten a confused look. "hey now, what was that for?" he questioned, a single ear pinned back.

Dipstick grunted and rolled over, she was awake enough to hear the noise and looked around. she saw her mother heading towards the barn and decided that it would not hurt to follow her. days in the pound where so dull that it would be nice to get a little commotion.

Boulderstar looked at Tornado, wondering the same, though not speaking aloud for the moment. He worried what the clan would do with a newborn kit in the clan. What if it's more, though? This just raked in anxiety for the stout tom, quietly clawing at the ground. He refused to respond with information that had a great chance to be wrong. Instead, he responded with a curt tongue.
"..Y-You may be having your kits now, Tornado." He said with a clear stutter, hoping it was true, as it was the only thing he was sure of at this point. He racked his brain for any soothing words, but it all came blank as he was too worried about the outcome of the situation at hand.

Noel parted her jaws to speak, though her thought was dashed away as she heard the faint squeal of a kit approach. She looked to the source of the voice - a small tomcat, heterochromia none the less. She let out a gasp as she had never seen such eyes before. She quickly shut up to let Flamefall speak. Once the multicolored she-cat stopped, Noel piped up.
"Hello, kitten." She greeted him with a faint smile, though immediately asking questions. "Why do you have two eye colors?" Her voice melted, tone softening as she smiled.

flamefall held back a small laugh at noel's instant, fascinated reaction to the kit. the warrior had to admit, she found the she-cat's enthusiasm amusing... cute, even. flamefall lay down on the stone and turned to groom the ruffled fur on her shoulders, ears swiveled back to frostkit and noel as she cleaned the messy, flame-colored fur.

Splashnose took some charge, gently pushing Boulderstar away. "I think you need to let us handle this now. If you could get a stick, some clean damp moss and some soft bedding that would be a huge help. Also any prey, she may be tired, cobwebs are important if she starts bleeding... She's small..." The calico chewed her lower lip ushering him away and stopping back to Tornado. "Hello, my name is Splashnose, I um. I used to be called Koi, I've had kits before. You are kitting ok?" She gently placed her paw on the rippling belly. "Breath, you need to relax you and your kits will be ok."

Frostkit tilted his head, still covered in dust as he listened to the two she cats. "Can you help me up Fallenflame?" he jumped up again, still struggling when Noel talked. Flopping back to the dust he sneezed, shaking some of the dust out of his white fur. He blinked again, looking up at the shelter cat, "I'm magic duh. Why do you smell so weird? And my name is Frostkit not kitten." He stuck his little pink tongue out at her repeating his question once again.

Fogkit jumped up when Jagger yowled in surprise the both of them flailed at the tail attack. The grey tom skittered away getting buried in a large pile of hay. He sent hay flying in his flurry of movement and soon only his smokey head was visible. "Fox! It's alive!" He ducked back in, teaching out a small paw to further bat at the fluffy tail of Jagger. "Yer a fox! Mamma says they are red and fluffy so you gotta die."

Digging into the flesh of the bird as Adderpaw left space left for her, she chewed slowly. The first taste was nothing but amazing, a sweet but tangy flavour playing with her tastebuds leaving her mouth open and watering. However, the more she continued, each bite began to be corrupted with the strange taste of guilt, wondering just how many other cats could appreciate the meal made her just a little bit less hungry. Sitting back after several bites, Goldenpaw shook her head in resignation as she rolled her eyes, "Of course yo- uh, yeah, me too." Smacking herself mentally, Goldenpaw sighed. The other apprentice seemed to have a pretty low self-esteem, so they definitely didn't need Goldenpaw's sass. Glancing back at the bird, she noted the ruffled feathers hanging loosely off of the bird, and she sighed. It definitely had enough meat for a good meal for three (or so) other cats, but if they brought this back, they'd know for sure that the two had indulged in a meal before alerting everyone. Shaking her head, she called out to Adderpaw, "Now don't go falling asleep on me, we need to get this back and you know how bad I am at climbing," She stated, cheeks puffed up as she finished her words.

Cinderfoot shook his head alongside Dovesong, straightening himself into a more composed cat now, smiling lightly. "Yeah, no prey to be found." Flicking his tail to indicate towards the box filled with strange kitty-pet food, he wrinkled his nose, "All there is are these really nasty kitty-pet things. They look like rabbit pellets, almost." Unsheathing and flexing his claws, he snorted, "Can't believe these two-legs expect us to eat rabbit dung, how insulting!" Cinderfoot grumbled, stressing his words at random points in the sentence to put emphasise on them.

Watching the drama from the other side of the fence, Talon cocked his head. Deserting his previous actions, he simply sat and observed the occurring events. He wasn't sure whether to be amused or worried or what, recognising a strange distance between the life of a clan cat and the life of a rouge. A confusing sense of alienation filled him as he watched, and he almost wanted to be there as well.
