Grace chuckled at the Pichu's reaction. "I mean, if we're being honest here, I chose Summer because I thought she was the cutest of the three." She looked down at the Chikorita and the Pokemon looked back up with a smile, giving a happy, 'Chika!' in response. Dusk lifted his head as the lab came into sight. He cocked his head slightly, seemingly curious about the building. Grace had almost forgotten that the Poochyena had only joined her team recently and hadn't been to the lab before.

Dandelion grinned when the Starly flinched, and so did I. "Dandelion, use growl again and then use peck!" I yelled. He used growl quickly and then flew down as fast as he could towards the Starly, his sharp beak pointed at it. When he hit it, there was an explosion of dust and J had to wait for the dust to die down to see what happened to Starly.

(I just remembered that ghost type moves don't affect normal types so I won't use Astonish anymore)

[x]━Starly, having the Keen Eye ability, was able to see perfectly well in the dust, and regained their bearings before launching themselves above the cloud with a few flaps, as if to show Allona that they were still kicking. "Starly, Quick attack and growl!" Allona shouted to the small bird Pokemon, who complied with a shrill "Star!" before closing their wings and diving into the now disipating dust cloud. Once again, where was a flurry of wings and pecks as Starly attacked the assailant, before flying back to Allona and giving a low, hissing "Starly" to the Swablu. Allona whispered a small curse to himself. As evenly matched as they were, Starly's attacks were weaker from Dandelion's growls, and Starly wasn't doing so hot either, it was apparent that she was getting tired and weak, but she stayed stubborn and kept going.

Dandelion flew up slowly, as he was on low health and close to fainting. If it wasn't for those growls, he would have fainted. I would have to make this attack count, even if he had lowered attack. ''Dandelion, use peck!'' I yelled. Dandelion flew up and dived towards the Starly and used peck again, this time pecking at Starly multiple times.

[x]━Starly fell out of the sky after being pecked by the Swablu, and Allona ran forward, putting them back in their pokeball before they hit the ground. He quickly sent out Turtwig. "Turtwig, Withdraw!" He shouted, and the earth turtle complied, disappearing into their shell and a faint blue glow was experienced before he reemerged. Allona knew well that Flying was strong against Grass, and knew that even with a lowered attack, the damage could be significant if he didn't raise Turtwig's stats.

"This is the lab, it'll probably basically be our base of operations for a pretty long time, little one." He told her in explanation, crouching down to pick her up to give her a better look at it.

I knew that even if flying type was super effective against grass type, peck wouldn't be enough to do a lot of damage to Turtwig since it had high defenses. I decided that the chance of flinch from Astonish wouldn't be enough, and peck would be the best move to do. ''Dandelion, use peck again!'' I said, looking at the cotton bird. ''Swablu!'' He cried out as he dived down at the Turtwig. His beak his right inbetween the eyes, as he knew hitting the shell would lessen the damage.

March bit her lip and signaled Cyn to follow her. He muttered his name, scuryying to follow at her heels. She followed the other trainer, thinking of what they would find. She remembered hearing.. Pichu-like noises in the darker part of the forest. "Hey, uh, can we head to the spooky section of the woods? I believe some Pichus reside there. Heard some yesterday, and um, I was afraid to go on my own."

[x]━Turtwig lunged at Dandelion before they could fly away, hoping to hit them before they flew out of reach. It was in vain though, as he miscalculated the distance and landed directly in front of the Swablu, not even touching them. "Turtwig! Tackle!" Allona shouted, hoping that he would still be able to jump high enough and hit the small bird Pokemon. It hit, but barely. Just enough to knock them off balance for a moment, but not enough to do any real damage or allow time for another attack, as Turtwig wasn't exactly the fastest Pokemon out there.

Grace rubbed Dusk's back, "Don't worry, we'll get you and Summer healed up." she said, looking down and giving the Poochyena a smile. The Pokemon looked up at her with a blank look before turning back to look at the lab. Letting out a small sigh, she opened the door and stepped inside. She made sure to stay in place and hold open the door for Indium. "Some day you'll like me." she said, looking back at Dusk. The Poochyena simply let out a huff and turned away.
