Sunkit was a small kit born with two other stillborn tom cats and one live brother. Her mother, Mothclaw, was already an aged beauty at the time, and raised him to be loyal to his clan and his leader, but to look out for family first and foremost, but she appeared to not have time for Sunkit and ignored her. Close to her mother, she was always close to her father, Goosestrike, he was always there for her and became her rock. She lost both parents the same winter when she was still an apprentice, they both contracted Greencough. She was devastated as, her father was the only cat she was closet to. Though after grieving, she and her brother became close and they both came to adopt the whole clan as their family, providing for them as she would her own father and kits, protecting them, and was given her warrior name after her brother when she saved a kit from drowning: Sunstorm.

She is a guarded, knowledgeable shecat. She usually has a sharp tongue and can come off as rude, which comes from the wall she's built around her heart because of being teased and picked on as a kit because of her tail. But she treats her friends nicely and can really be a sweet-heart inside. She wont back down from a fight. She is very cunning and swift. But she is also very wary of other cats because of her history with other cats. But when you come down to it she is very kind and loving and would do anything to protect the ones she loves and cares about.

Leafpaw was born on a cold leafbare night, her mother Darkflower, had already had a previous litter who didn't make it. Her father, Bearclaw and her mother were sad but they were still hopeful when Silentstep had announced she was expecting again. The moons went easily for the couple but when a badger attacked Bearclaw died defending Darkflower. Though thoroughly heartbroken, she was still hopeful of the unborn kits in her belly. When she finally kitted, it was a hard birth in a snowstorm. When she was done, forlornly, Silentstep informed her two of her kits were stillborn. Maddened with grief and seeing the only kit she had had a defect, her tail was missing, she only had a stump of a tail. Darkflower couldn't stand to look at the kit, she hadn't even bothered to name it, and gave the little kit to the only other queen, a dark tabby named Shadepelt, though it wasn't the best decision as Shadepelts kits were just about to be apprenticed, and Shadepelt didn't want to care for another kit. Though she did at Cinderstar's order. And though she was fed by the queen, her own mother decided to basically ignore and neglect the kit, this went on until Newleaf, and when Darkflower realized she wasn't going to get rid of the kit and she wasn't going to die, she decided to name her Leafkit because it was the first thing that made her smile, at seeing the green leaves of Newleaf.
As Leafkit grew, she realized her mother didn't love her, and though she wondered why, she never asked. Leafkit had a hard time growing up as the other kits and apprentices liked to tease her and make fun of her because of her tail or lack there of. She didn't understand it and often ran to the medicine cats den for comfort. She could always count on Silentstep to calm her down. And though she never really liked herbs, she loved helping her clanmates, and helping Silentstep when ever she could.

Emberclaw is cautious and level-headed when making decisions, but clever. He tends to have solutions that are out-of-the-box and slightly unconventional. He likes to think situations through in order to manipulate the outcome in his clan's favor, because to him, their safety is the number one priority. He's not an evil cat though, all though his moral compass is not always accurate.
Emberclaw is a rather quiet tom, who really doesn’t talk all that much. When he has something important to say, he will say it. Emberclaw tends to be quite open with his opinions when he decides to share them. He is very proud to be a member of his clan.
