The she-cat caught her breath and got to her paws before plopping back down on hr haunches. "It seems like a long time ago, I don't really remember it that much." Beepaw mewed and shook her head, trying to get it away. Beepaw looked at him crouched to the ground and she let her hair rise before pouncing on top of him. "Got you now." She mewed with a laugh, taking humor out of it.

The tom heard the fussing and huffed "Bunch of kits, fighting over a position" he hissed to himself although he wanted to be deputy he found it, how would we put it, oh yeah.. Stupid, yeah thats the word, to fight over a spot you didn't get.

"Well... There are lots of cats who want to be deputy. You could have a group of them, who all do the job of deputy." He murmured, changing his position so he was laying down. "They could all organize patrol and make sure every cat has something to do." He continued. "Then you can have two deputies on patrol, with three or four more back at camp. That way, each warrior who wants to be deputy can be. You could have a main one who will be there when you... Pass..." He finished, looking away. Now he had said it out loud, he realized how stupid his idea was.

The she-cat was rolled over onto her back in the thick grass that entangled them and loomed overhead, concealing them from the world above and around them. Beepaw laughed, "you're such a weird flirt." Beepaw mewed and pushed him off since he didn't necessarily pin her down firmly. Beepaw sat up and blinked at the tall grass that hung in her face. "Hey, I got an idea! How about we hunt each other in this grass?" Beepaw mewed, it had to be at least three feet tall. "You go run off and I'll try to find you." Beepaw mewed, they were surrounded by it in their little meadow.
