Birchkit frowned. They were all getting attention and she wasn't! How did they even know what each other were saying? "M-mama!" She repeated, a worried expression on her face. What if they forgot her in favor of the ones who could understand her? What if she starved because of that??

Goose padded through the forest, not in the clan territory to hunt like she usually did. She was looking for her daughter, Ice. Though she was old enough to go on her own, she was deaf, and she didn't know how to fight or hunt. That's what made Goose worried. She couldn't even shout her name. So she simply wandered around, desperately searching for a scent.

Blaze lay, scrunched up into a ball in a small clearing. She was starving and couldn't even find crowfood.

Bonekit;;

"Daddy," Bonekit explained to his father. He should understand what he wanted. "Daddy, daddy."

Bluepaw;;

Bluepaw followed her mentor, thinking.

Stripestar purrs as he leans down and grooms his little son.Falcondusk flicks his tail as he lets out a small sigh.

Cherrytail arrived at the stream and waited for Mallowstem, who was only a few tail-lengths behind her. "Haha! I have beaten the great Mallowstem!""

After a bit of wandering, Goose got a scent. Though it wasn't what she had hoped. Instead of her daughter's scent, which she knew so well, it smelled of blood and fear. She got her hopes up as she followed it, as such scents could easily overpower her daughter's, but as she got to the small clearing she was greeted with reality once again as she saw a cat nothing like what she was looking for. She approached it carefully. "H-hello?" She could see the rise and fall of it's flank, so she knew it wasn't dead.

Blaze opened her jaws to speak, but nothing came out. Though she could hardly keep her eyes open, there was a tiny glint of fear in them.

Mallowstem skidded to a halt beside her, panting. "Y-yeah."
