Gingerface ran away from the twolegnest. He looked behind himself, the cat wasn't following. He stopped to catch his breathe. "That was a close call." He panted.

Icepaw
Icepaw raced after Gingerface. She wasn't afraid, mearly startled and not wanting to loose sight of her companion in a strange place like this. After pausing with the tom to catch her breath for a couple of moments she said, "We could have taken her." Icepaw thought of all kittypets as lazy things that couldn't fight even if they tried. She was sure that two skilled former clan cats like themselves could have easily beat any kittypet.

"Not all kittypets are soft. Some of them will fight to the death." Gingerface mewed grimly.

[Weredog]

Icepaw
"She didn't look so tough." Icepaw said, trying to sound brave as some sort of attempt towards getting Gingerface's praise or approval. Truthfully she didn't exactly have time to examine the kittypet to really be able to tell if she had the look of a fighter or not.

"Liar." He teased, smiling. "Even I was scared of her." He nudged her cheek, then continued on with the journey.

Blaze smiled. "Nice job," she purred.

Icepaw
Icepaw stuck her tongue out at the tom, as she often did whenever he frustrated or teased her, before giving a smile to show that she had no real hard feelings. She happily trotted alongside Gingerface once again as they moved on.

Minkpaw
Minkpaw gave a muffled response of thanks as he held his catch in his mouth.

Blaze crouched, spotting the other mouse a few fox-lengths way. She crouched, stalking forward silently. She lunged, catching the creature in her jaws and killing it.

Minkpaw approached Blaze once she made her kill and dropped his own to say, "We should get back to Paw."
