Sorrel jumped instinctively, making a large racket in the bushes. Realizing that his cover was blown, the small apprentice aged tom jumped out of the bushes and puffed his chest out in an attempt to look at least somewhat fierce. "W-who are you and what are you doing here?" The words tumbled out of his mouth and he realized that he didn't look scary or menacing at all.

"I'm... Ginger. Who are you?" Gingerface lied about his name. He couldn't let anyone know he was a clan cat... or at least, used to be a clan cat.

"I'm fine." Minkpaw quickly meowed, "I just don't like thinking about the past is all."

Icepaw eyed up this tom who was, obviously, a loner. She bit back a sarcastic remark since Gigerface was being polite himself but also didn't say anything.

"Sssssmecho." Sorrel was about to say his real name, but realized that he shouldn't, and thinking of only his name and his sister's the strange mutation of "Echo" and "Sorrel" tumbled out of his mouth before he could think. "Y-yeah. Smecho."

Gingerface almost laughed out loud. What kind of name was Smecho? "Nice to meet--*small chuckle*-- you Smecho. Why are you here?"

Paw decided to tell the two her experience with the monsters to change the subject. This was going to be a small conversation and she was going to keep it that way. ''I got to ride in a monster once.'' she said.

Sorrel-er, Smecho, for the time being, scowled. "I've lived here since I was barely able to talk. And since you are carelessly wandering into here I assume you're new. Who are you?"

Minkpaw nodded for Paw to go one with her story, assuming there would be more to it than just that. He didn't mind hearing about other's adventures with monsters and twolegs he just didn't like recalling his own.

Icepaw finally decided to introduce herself, following Gingerface's suit and dropping the suffix. "My name is Ice." She meowed with a flick of her tail. She wasn't so sure how much she liked that name. If she was going to be a loner now she would have to come up with something cooler she decided but she would have time to do that later on.
