She awoke in the medicine den and realized the bleeding had stopped. She wondered what had happened at the stream so she padded off in the direction and just sat up in a tree and listened.

After all that swimming and drama today, Tidepaw was glad to curl up in her nest and train tomorrow, as she rested she drifted into sleep to be awoken to tomorrow.

Cloverheart watched the deputy dive fearlessly into the water, and she was frozen for a moment. She suddenly sprang back to life and helped him drag the cats out of the water. She looked at their poor, frozen bodies and began doing what her mother would do when Cloverheart was cold. She licked their fur backwards, ruffling them up and getting some of the water out. "If you lick them they warm up."

Ashpaw tried to keep his mind focused, but it was just too cold. What were they thinking? Jumping into a frozen stream in leaf bare? They were so mouse brained. He sighed. "We're sorry... Well I'm sorry... Is she gonna be ok?" He looked over to Sorrelpaw, who was still unconscious.

He watched her for a moment, trusting that what she was doing was right and licking their fur backwards. He only stopped to say,"Ashpaw, bring a medicine cat out here. They're gonna need proper healing and I am no medicine cat." He then resumed licking them, desperate to save them.

sorrelpaw felt nothing. numbness. she couldn't see or hear what was going on around her, nor feel. something was wrong. her mind was screaming, she didn't want to be in this state. however, she would have paid as much as she had to to stay in that state after she woke up... and saw her face.

but only half of her muzzle is bruised/injured and her eye is missing/shut. her ear is also ripped.

Nightpaw looked around, the rest of her body frozen. She s most scared to look at her mentor. She had already messed up so much today, and now she almost killed her friends. If they were alive... She forced herself to look at her mentor, freezing and scared. "Are they okay? Are they dead? I'm sorry, this is all my fault!"

Her sharp tone surprised him, but he gazed at her calmly. "Im sorry." He dipped his head to her. "At least, even though you didnt hear the badger, you two brought down a large meal for the clan in this time. I thank Starclan that we werent hurt, but also that there is still prey."

Lynxpaw awoke, as she had just fallen asleep. She heard Ashpaw, and quickly ran out of the den. She grabbed a stick full of cobwebs and some poppy, hoping it was all she needed. "Lead the way!"

Cloverheart kept licking, deserate to warm them. She had seen queens do it to their kits when they were cold. She hoped it helped. She sent a silent prayer to StarClan

Ashpaw stood, his body protesting greatly. He was numb, but at least he could walk. He turned to Nightpaw and Sorrelpaw. Sorrelpaw was bleeding badly from half of her face. That sent fear through his body as he ran to camp. "Greyfoot! Lynxpaw! Someone!" He looked around for the medicine cat's and saw Lynxpaw run out with herbs in her mouth. He quickly led the way back to the others.

Nightmare staggered away from Cloverheart. She looked down at Sorrelpaw and gasped. "Sorrelpaw!" She crouched down by her friend, gently licking her ear. "I'm so sorry... Sorrelpaw, I'm sorry." GeTs blacked he vision, and she could vary feel how cold she was. "I did this..."

He kept licking Sorrelpaw to keep her warm, able to see what happened to the young apprentice. He felt terrible for not being on guard. He usually never let apprentices leave without a warrior escort...
