Song walked over and sat by Legend. Her eyes stared at the fight between Shadow and Artic. This fight would change her life, she'd either be dead or alive,

Shadow was surprised by the defensive attack.He got to his paws quickly and took a moment to catch his breath.For some strange reason the Alphess was holding back. He started to circle her searching her body for weaknesses

Arctic watched him carefully,she got to her paws and waited for him to attack

Shadows eyes were clouded with confusion,why wasn't she attacking.He could only think of two reasons,one because she couldn't or two because she was reserving her energy for a big attack but he didn't think that was it.He lept towards her aiming for her back. Arctic ducked and thrust her head upwards as he sailed past her,it caught him off guard and sent him rolling across the camp. He shook his head to clear it,he was thinking to much he needed to clear his mind. He growled as he saw his paw bleeding,he'd hit a rock when he fell and it had grazed it. He stepped back until he was in front of a thick solid tree

Song's eyes glowed with amusement. Fool, to challenge our Alpha, She turned her head to glare at Ash, Your mate is pathetic She laughed inside her head.

Arctic was no fool,she had tried that trick when she had won the position of Alpha"You dare to use my own attacks against me"She growled. Shadow cursed and abandoned the smashing her own head into a tree plan.(I love the way that sounded) He rushed towards her and knocked her to the floor a second time with one swipe

Arctic winced as her front paw was bent back,it didn't have enough pressure to do serious damage but it still hurt all the same

"Fight back Arctic"Shadow snarled getting irritated now. Arctics eyes were filled with pain as she stared up at him

"I can't"She whispered

Legend watched the fight if Shadow did win, Legend was silently planning what he would do if Shadow won, he could run away with some of the other wolves, and set up a pack.

Song looked up a legend, hoping he might comfort her in some way. What happens if he wins? She thought. What happens if he doesn't win?

Song whimpered as she led down, licking her paws. They were stained with blood when she had lunged for Shadow. She coulden't watch the fight, she coulden't bare it if he won.
