Wolfkit, being as bored as he was, which was unusual, crept in the shadows of camp. His black pelt blending in with the shadows, his blue eyes stood out. But he kept to the gorse tunnel and outside. There, he slowly sniffed at tree trunks

Cherrystream woke up, and wondered when she'd fallen asleep. She flattened her ears and sighed. How could I ever have loved Skeletonstar? I can't believe he'd do this. I hope he treats Redstripe better, she seems like a nice cat.
She spent awhile setting up a makeshift nest near the tree just outside of camp, deciding it was better to sleep there tonight and get some space from everyone else.
