» Timberclaw looked up at the she-cat, some anger in his gaze. "I learned it" He muttered "I just didn't expect you to pretend to be dead in front of three of your caring clanmates." The tom stayed closed off and looked away.

Tornstar opened her mouth to say something but she quickly closed it, laying her ears down flat and hung her head low, as she turned around. Starting to walk out of the training hollow she meowed, "Im sorry.. I wasnt thinking straight." She turned her head away before the tears fell from her eyes, "Im sorry for trying to teach apprentinces moves other clans or rouges would use on them in battle." Then she tucked her tail and padded away, back to the high stone and into her den. Walking to her nest and plopped down with a sigh. Laying her head on her paws and her tail flat out.

Her eyes widened as she watched what was happening. Her head went from Timberclaw to where Tornstar left. Then to Whitekit, why would she leave him behind? She didnt know what to do.. so the normally excited apprentince meowed, "Timberclaw?"

» Timberclaw looked over at the two young cats. "I think that's enough training for today" He spoke quietly and padded over to them, resting his tail on Vixenpaw's and then Whitekit's shoulder. "We should go back" He added and began padding back towards camp, tail drooping slightly.

» Timberclaw waited for the two a little farther off. He just stared across the forest, totally zoned out. The tom thought about what had just happened, then shook his head in confusion to snap himself back to reality.

» Leafpetal noticed Tornstar enter camp as she was laying outside of her den. Full of curiosity, she padded over to the entrance of Tornstar's den. "Are you alright Tornstar?" The she-cat asked softly.

Tornstar nodded and flicking her tail towards the medicine cat then she sat up and looked at Leafpetal and shook her head, "Im fine.. sort of.. I think.. I upset Timberclaw though not meaning to.." then she meowed thinking of her rude tones she used towards him. "Okay.. maybe a little.. we were sparing and I used the play dead trick and he got upset.. I shouldnt have used it.."

» Leafpetal nodded and sighed. "It's okay, we all do things we may not like looking back on it" She commented "If I know Timberclaw, he's either upset that he lost... or upset that you made him worried." She tilted her head slightly to the side. "Which one do you think it was?"

She looked down at her paws hears flat against her head, "Well Im hoping because he lost.. it wpuld make me feel better if he wasnt worrying about me.. Im just a leader not a very good one but.. he doesnt need to worry about me.. but himself.. hes more important.. the entire clan is." She meowed as her golden green eyes dulled with her sigh. Then Tornstar meowed, "I was thinking its time for you to take an apprentince, Leafpetal."

» Leafpetal gasped "Tornstar, you're so important! To every cat in this clan!" She exclaimed. "And maybe it's time someone did..." She added before focusing on what she had just said. "Really?" She asked, interested in having a cat to teach.

She nodded softly and thought of how to apologize to Timberclaw as she meowed, "Of course. I know its normal for a medicine cat to pick thekr apprentince but I think Whitekit would be a great help to you. Hes strong and caring and a fast learner." She meowed softly already taking a liking to the small kit. He is a wonderful soul and a great asset to the clan.
