sprucekit kept watching the slightly younger kit before closing her emerald eyes and breathing slow and steady. (whenever her eyes are open and shes active or even just sitting there her breaths go quite fast but when she's relaxed it slows down - is that normal? its basically my irl )

Oakkit wondered why he couldn't see. Could Spruckit see? Maybe he'd be able to see one day.

Flame padded around the outskirts of the clan territory. Only once when he was a few moons old, did he go into the territory. Little he knew then, it belonged to a clan. That's where he got his scar on his hindquarters. He needed to find food for Ash, his only surviving daughter. "There goes nothing." He mewed, then padded a little ways into clan territory, he caught the scent of mouse and looked around. Finding the mouse eating a beach nut, he crouched low to the ground. Eyes not leaving the mouse, he tucked his tail against his body and padded slowly toward, step by step u til he was close enough to pounce. Once he lept, he landed on his target, he bit it's neck, killing it with a swift bite.

Ash played with a few more leaves. Waiting for her father. She got bored and crawled under the bush where she had slept the past few moons. It was getting crowded with her and her father sleeping in here as well. So curled up and decided to think about her mother. Then the next thing she know, she was dozing. Eventually, she drifted off into a nice, deep sleep

sprucekit soon drifted off to sleep and dreamt about what it would be like to be in a situation like oakkit's. she really wished he could see what the world was like..

Oakkit had fallen asleep for a few moments. He decided, after waking up, to see if he could see. He opened his eyes, but there was nothing.

sprucekit woke up and stood, padding over to oakkit's side and laying next to him, curling her small tail around him. "i'll protect you from anything that comes. i wont let anybody hurt you." she whispered to him. i must help all who are injured. i must help all who are sad. i must help this little kit through life.. she thought before falling asleep again.
