"OHHHH staaaapppphhh" North mused pushing him on the side playfully. "You are such a complainer" the female teased her tail flicking, as she looked over to him "Be open minded, you are probably gonna be deputy. Personally if you become a leader I dont think being closed-minded alot will enjoy" Then her gaze turned towards the front "I dont know if I am glad or not to not be the most likely to become deputy, I mean since I was a kit I have been wanting it so bad but.. I want kits some day and female leaders can't have kits which sucks. I mean technically being leader you are mother to all but i dont know...." Her head turned to Silvercloud as she asked "If you could choose, would you be leader or mother of your born kits?"

Snakepaw noticed his mentor AspenFang form afar and wanted to show her his claim but she seemed busy with Goldenstream so he just placed it in the fresh killed pile and walked off with a small sight. Maybe they were gonna practice soon. Right?

Silvercloud fell silent at Northwind's question, her head peering up at the endless sky. Being a leader would be the opportunity of a lifetime, but Silvercloud wasn't entirely sure whether she was ready for such a huge responsibility. Being a leader meant making important decisions on behalf of the whole clan, and deciding on who to trust and who was a traitor. The thought of it all made her stomach churn a little bit.

"I think.... I would rather be a mother," Silvercloud answered quietly. "Having the leader role would be nice and all, but I doubt if I would be up to the task...."

"I'm gonna whip up a small dust storm, like you'd see in battle. Then, I'm going to charge you randomly; always be prepared. For anything." He said, tail raised high above his rump. It was almost like a black, skinny tower hovering above him. The tom really did look like his father. "Go place yourself beside that oak over there," He said as he raised a paw to direct her to the area. Once she began to leave, he thralled around, dust sweeping up in the air and flying over the tree tops.

"Thank you." She purred, closing her eyes as her tiny smile rose upon her jaws. This she-cat didn't mind opening her thoughts to Aspenfang, and truly trusted her. Then again, she wasn't exactly a closed book. Almost all the clan knew her thoughts constantly, she was quite loud as well; and always around Stormstar. The two basically grew up together, although Goldenstream was about twice his age. "I'm sure that once you have kits, I'll still be here to help." She chuckled, then her ears perked up like mice. "Ah, we might even have litters together if you find a good tom soon enough!" She snorted, and opened one eye out of her laughter. "Antnose is quite the tom, to y'know. I wouldn't mind a few grandkits." [ are grandkits a thing? xD ]

kestrelstrike blinked and looked over at northwind, "you think i'm going to be deputy?" he grinned to himself and kind of zoned out of the conversation after that, wondering if he was up for the position of leader of birchclan. he wasn't sure and he doubted he would know unless he was chosen for the deputy position by stormstar. it didn't take long for the trio to find themselves at the riverbank, the fast flowing water was really not the far away from camp.

finchpaw nodded and bounded over to the oak he had directed her towards. she had a bad feeling about this and got the feeling she was about to be royally embarrassed. she watched her mentor sweep up more and more dust until he was almost totally enveloped by the dust, except for the fact that he was a dark cat and that was about as invisible as he was going to get. she wondered if she would be visible in all of it.

Being a mom would mean taking care of the growth of your kits but being a leader is the growth of your clan... Both seem hard but at the same time she wanted to do both. WhenKrestel talked she snapped back to reality and answered "Yeah, i think you are most likely to"

Aspenfang smiled, "It would be fun if we could raise our kits together." Aspenfang replied happily and then blushed when Goldenstream talked about Antnose. "Yes, he is a rather handsome and kind tom." Aspenfang replied, blushing and wondering if it was awkward to say these things. (Yes, there can be grandkits. I just don't think that any queen in "Warriors" have lived that long XD)

Pantherpaw hurried after Wolfpaw and soon began to sprint. He nodded to Wolfpaw to continue and dashed back to camp. The strong scent of birch clan was undeniable, and it made for easy navigation back to camp.
