Thornstar was alarmed. ''I cant smell her scent either!'' he meowed, jolting up.

Tigerkit was awoken by the sound of a bird. ''Whats there?'' she growled, but what she didnt know, was that the bird was a hungry hawk.

She saw the shadow of the bird on the ground, and followed it, pretending that was her shadow. ''Whee!'' she meowed to herself, running around in circles.

Thornstar was still weak, but got up, ''Did you ask the kits if they saw her.. ask Jaykit or hawkpaw!''

"I cant find her either!" Jaykit wailed

Tigerkit looked up and saw the hawk. ''Whats that?'' she wondered, ''well, its a bird,'' she meowed. Suddenly, the hawk dived down with its claws out, aiming for Tigerkit. She saw it coming down and she rolled to the side.
