Thrushtail face fell a little before saying "I'm sorry. I hope you like the clan with Rippleheart though! I'm surprised no one said much about you two. Kits for the clan is always great news to everyone." Thurshtail face was still grim but she managed a small smile. The two were very interesting and good kits.

Whitekit looked to his sister with a shrug. They had been wondering about that as well. "I don't think anyone is supposed to know us until we become apprentices. Then Aspenstar will go on the rock thing and call our names to everyone." "I hop not. I kinda like being invisible..." He heard Blackkit say and gave her a lick on the head to hopefully soothe her nerves. "It's alright. I'll be with you the whole time." He purred.

Minx noticed the small reaction the other had to her antics. She just had that effect on toms. Sure she was a flirt but love was never on her mind at all. She never even got close to the toms, just let her tail do all the talking before going on with her business. But she could tell this particular tom would be tougher to pull along. But Minx loved the idea of a challenge. A silent purr rose in her throat as she thought about it, following the tom into the hunting area. The smell of purr made her mouth water slightly and she dug her claws in the snow, eager to sink them into pre. She licked her lips as she scented a nearby mouse and crouched down, zeroing in to catch it.

"Haha. You win." She purred, giving him a congratulatory lick on the shoulder before digging a hole in the snow to bury her catch. "Come Tallnose. That was only round one." She purred once more before trotting off, bushing flanks slightly beforehand .

Owlpaw padded behind him and looked around. He looked back at Foxtail when he heard his voice. "Uh... Do you smell the air for the rabbit?" He asked curiosity and titled his head slightly. He had seen other apprentices practicing from his short time being with the clan. He didn't know much but he wasn't clueless. "And then..." He said and looked down at the ground trying to remember. "You crouch down?" He asked and got down, "like this?"

The she-cat flickered an ear and looked from side to side. "Where to hunt today..." She mumbled quietly to herself as she padded through the now slush snow. Lifting her muzzle she tried to make out any scent from near by prey. Nothing, she thought bitterly as she lowered her head. She swayed her tail from side to side before making up her mind to head towards the stream to see if there was any fish. Maybe it'll be warm enough,she thought as she padded towards it.

Icepaw was about to choose a squirrel, but something caught her eye. Copperpaw was with an unfamiliar apprentice. Padding up to the two, Icepaw greeted, "Hey Copperpaw." before nodding to the other apprentice. "Who's this?" Asked Icepaw, curious.

Ivyclaw scented an unfamiliar stench and scanned the clearing before her gaze rested on the apprentice, Copperpaw and Icepaw as well. She noticed the other cat with them too. Since she was quite far away from the 2 apprentices and the other cat, she moved closer, trying not to draw attention to herself so that she could get a better look at the new cat, she wondered what he was doing here but she didn't dare go up and question the apprentices, he looked about their age anyways so she just decided to groom her fur a bit more.

"Nice!" he purred, "yes, of course you scent the air for the rabbit or else, what would you be hunting?" he joked, "then, yes, you crouch down after pinpointing where excactly it is." he mewed, "but first you might want to check something else," he said softly, "can you guess what it is?" he asked, he wanted to find out what page this apprentice was on with his techniques and how much Owlpaw knew or had heard of from the warrior when he was in the nursery. Then he added on, "by the way, nice crouch," he smiled.
