Bouncepaw snuggled up to Brindleflank, indicating she was sorry for what she said. Her stomach growled. She got up to get prey once she saw an amused look on Brindleflank's face. She chose a small mouse from the fresh kill pile. She slowly ate her mouse. She then picked up a bird and took it to the nursery before she went back out and looked around for Aspenstar. Her eyes widened once she saw the two warriors beside him. She got closer, blending in with any rocks she could find until she was just in earshot. She heard them discussing a coyote. She had heard that before... Was it a... A dog? She gulped. She had heard they can be worse than hawks. She kept listening.

The leader nodded, a grim look about his face. "Where did you scent him?" he asked, reading the fearful expressions on the warriors faces.

Without letting them respond, he continued. "We'll take a patrol out there in the morning and re-mark the border." he started, rolling the thought around in his mind. " If we need to, we'll track him down. But that would be a final plan of action." after all, if the coyote was only passing through, he didn't want to cause trouble.

LionSplash nodded. Not attacking if it wasn't necessary was smart. "It was down in the conifers, pretty close to camp.." She added the last part with an edge to her voice. The golden warrior looked up as he spoke, flicking her tail tip in curiosity.

"Should we keep a guard tonight?" She asked, thinking it might be a good idea to have a watch in case he decided to attack.

Pantherfang nodded in acceptance to Aspenstar's plan. "Alright, we can take out extra patrols to freshen the scent, and Lionsplash and I can stand guard tonight?" He asked his leader, trying to be as helpful as possible. Pantherfang flashed a thankful glance to Lionsplash for helping with the location, before turning back to face Aspenstar.

Blackkit stopped trying to hid and practically froze when she felt the other's nose on her ear. She lifted her head out of her paws to eye the other thoroughly. She then gave a sniff before relaxing fully when she really didn't smell a hint of a threat from the warrior. A small, barely noticeable smile appeared on her face and nodded nervously at the tabby.

His sister repeated after him in her naturally quiet voice. He smiled at her for giving it a chance before continuing. "I'm Whitekit. And that's my sis Blackkit. Even though my fur is black and hers is white." He said, his tail giving a wag every now and then.

Minx noticed the small reaction the other had to her antics. She just had that effect on toms. Sure she was a flirt but love was never on her mind at all. She never even got close to the toms, just let her tail do all the talking before going on with her business. But she could tell this particular tom would be tougher to pull along. But Minx loved the idea of a challenge. A silent purr rose in her throat as she thought about it, following the tom into the hunting area. The smell of purr made her mouth water slightly and she dug her claws in the snow, eager to sink them into pre. She licked her lips as she scented a nearby mouse and crouched down, zeroing in to catch it.
