Bearstep suddenly came to the shocking realization that the two toms were actually fighting over her. She quickly bound up to the battling cats and tried to break then apart with a loud yowl, "Stop this nonsense!" She did not want either of them dead just because of her. Even if a little voice at the back of her mind was telling her that the winner would prove to be the best to give her the strongest kits. Bearstep shook her head to rid herself of that intrusive thought.

"Shut up!" He yowled, staring at her with rage. "You always talk talk tal-" He was cut off by another attack from Russetgrowl. "You have a lovely voice." He said calmly, standing on top of Thistletooth. "My darling, I-" He was knocked to the ground, Thistletooth on top of him. "She belongs to me!" He spat. "She will have my kits and be my mate, not yours!" He declared. "Keep your eyes off her!" He yowled. He blinked and looked up as he heard a laugh. "That's only if you win, Thistletooth!" Shadowstar smiled. "Someone must retreat!" He yowled. "Not me!" Russetgrowl shrieked, attacking once more.

Bearstep didn't immediately react to what Thistletooth said. She was simply too shocked. After a couple of heartbearts though, she recovered and launched herself into the battle by yanking Thistletooth backwards. Hopefully the element of surprise would allow her to easily bring him to the ground so their either she or Russetgrowl could jump on him and attack.

He gasped as he was pulled to the ground. "I retreat!" He screeched, just as Russetgrowl was about to attack. Shadowstar laughed. "Weakling!" He called. Thistletooth growled. "I love you more!" He yowled glaring at Bearstep, hatred flaming through his gaze.

Bearstep moved to stand at her mate's side, eyes narrowed with anger at Thistletooth. "You practically insulted me right here in front of the whole clan and I am supposed to believe that you love me?" She spoke in an unusually cool tone, practiced from needing to stay calm for her kits in times of distress, "I may not be very smart Thistletooth, but I'm not stupid either."

He gasped, heart breaking. He shook his head, expression changing to anger. He hissed. "Ugh! She-cats!" He growled, rushing out the entrance.

He sighed. "Did he lie to you? If our kits don't survive, we can always have more, you know?" He murmured in her ear. "Let's get some rest..." He whispered, pulling her along to the nursery. He lay down, looking up at her. "I will never find anyone as good as you." He mewed softly.

Bearstep slouched her shoulders after Thistletooth left as she let her guard down. She allowed herself to be pulled away into the nursery and layed down beside her mate. "So you don't love Scatterscar? And you aren't going to leave me if I didn't raise our kits to be strong enough?" She asked while resting her head against the tom, seeking reassurance after being betrayed like that.

(i could make someone for her if you want. i'll need an ideal match personality to work off of tho
oooh! thistletooth could kill viper out of anger and then somehow frame stormclan. i'll make bearstep be like 'i'll just take some kits from you guys then since you took mine')

Fallenwing noticed that one of the kit were missing, and she knew exactly where it had gone.
"Talon, you're lucky in this moment in time, but you will serve your punishment later. Do not let this kit out of your sight." She murmured, quickly rushing off to Bearstep's den.
"Bearstep! You deliberately disobeyed me! How dare you!" She yowled, observing the unconcious kit.
"What did you do to him?" She said, dismayed.
The kit was obviously bruised, but Fallenwing gently lifted the kit up in her jaws. She had been betrayed by the queen, who had gone against her orders. Now, her job, and possibly her own life, was in jeopardy.

She sighed, Russetspot was obviously paranoid about her. The only thing she wanted was for him to rest.
"Yes, I'm okay. Now you need to go rest, you look terrible." She meowed.

The small kit had went back into conciousness as yelling and pain surrounded him. He started howling in pain as it really hurt.
