She cried out in shock and looked down at her large belly. "I'm barely a moon along!" she meowed in alarm and swished her tail around, accidentally hitting an equally panicked Lightningstrike. "I shouldn't be kitting yet!"

"It's not like I'm going anywhere anyways." Echopelt mewed, sitting back down.
"I can't risk loosing your sister. All I've ever wanted was to mentor her, you know? Give her a chance?" The she-cat mumbled.

Starkit smiled at her excited sister. They'd both be apprenticed together, thankfully.
Starkit caught the moss ball and tapped her foot twice. She then pointed her paw at Stormstar's den, then at the apprentice's den. She tapped her paw once again and then jumped, showing exitement. Hopefully her sister would understand what she was trying to say, although Starkit had no doubt that she couldn't understand. She usually communicated well with the tabby.

Minkpaw kept a close eye on the warrior even though she had sat back down, just in case the simple movement had caused harm. Luckily it didn't appear so. "Swanflower is worried that she might just be sent to the elder's den." He responded to her comment. Even after Echopelt had told the queen she would try to give Honeykit a chance she would still regularly confide in the apprentice about her worries for his younger sibling. "I hope she is wrong."

Honeykit usually understood and was understood by Starkit. The two did pretty much grow up together after all and so it was only natural that Starkit would have picked up on her way of speaking. The tabby's gaze picked up on the gestures and followed when the other kit pointed. She smiled and nodded to show that she was indeed excited about becoming an apprentice hopefully within the next few days.

"Nah," Echopelt began to shake her head until she realized she definitely shouldn't, "I couldn't let that happen to her. Hopefully when Stormstar comes to speak about what actually happened to cause these injuries, I'll be able to convince her. I just can't wait to see what Honeykit will become." Echopelt meowed.

Starkit was delighted when her sister understood her. She always felt triumphant when Honeykit understood, Starclan knows why, she didn't. She was simply enjoying her life as a kit, which would be gone soon.

"Stormstar?" Swanflower called, standing just outside of the she-cat's den. She had no clue if the leader was even inside but it seemed as good a place as any to search for her.

Shadeheart frowned a bit out of confusion. He didn't understand how he was treating her like a queen but still he decided to apologize, "Oh, I'm sorry." He was afraid he might have offended the deputy somehow.

Minkpaw chuckled softly. "We're just doing our duty." He said but the look on his face made it obvious that he appreciated the praise.

Honeykit nodded with a newly formed grin on her face. She was almost always up for some playtime especially with someone she was close to, such as Starkit. The tabby stepped out of the nest and trotted a distance away from her adoptive sibling before turning to face her to wait for her to toss the moss to her.

Redstripe
She tilted her head as she felt confused herself as he apologised, "Oh No you didn't offend me." She said with a normal tone, She went bright red as she felt a bit embarresed for her choice of words.

She came back with a stick and catmint in case she wouldn't calm down. She set it beside her and gave her some catmint before anything else.

"I-I don't know..." Spottedfire wailed and glanced at her belly fearfully. "Why is this happening? So soon! Am I going to die? How many kits will I have? Will they live? I don't remember ever hearing of a queen kitting so early!" She rambled on, obviously distraught despite the catmint which only served to cause her to voice her thoughts. Lightningstrike only watched on helplessly and continued to lick her, wanting to comfort his mate.

Songpaw slashed at Thistle's chest, claws sheathed. She tried to keep herself from bursting out laughing.

Leaf struggled to keep a giggle down when Thistle flinched, keeping his eyes tightly shut. He waited five heartbeats before he opened one. His eyes widened as he saw his sister, a large smirk on her face. He blinked and she burst out laughing. "Ha! You should have seen the look on your face!" She mewed, rolling on the ground. He quickly got up and brushed himself down. He looked over at Songpaw and he blushed wildly, staring at her. She snorted with laughter. "Love at first sight little bro?" She asked. "N-No!" He said quickly, hiding his face from the she-cat. "You're only older by a few heartbeats anyway..." He mumbled.
