Cloudgaze sat up when Stripestar left, apparently to talk to Spottedleap by the sound of things. She gave a soft sigh and curled her tail around her paws. As much as she would have liked for the tom to have stuck around longer he knew he had his duties to attend to.

Cloudgaze took to grooming her mostly white pelt to take her mind off Stripestar. Either the tom was quite unobservant and just didn't take notice of her feelings towards him or he just didn't want to reject her. Whatever the case, she just wanted to forget about him for a few moments and relax.

Dasiykit pinned Mink-kit with a sigh. Both toms had been of apprentice age for some time now but they were still in the nursery for some reason. 'Stripestar is busy and has his reasons.' He remembered his mother saying just a few nights ago when he pestered her about their apprenticeship. To make up for lost time he was attempting to do some battle practice with his littermate but the larger tom never put up much of a fight so the practice didn't do much at all for him.
