The pale morning light was gradually turning to a midday glow, but Eno slept through it all. Rarely was she disturbed by the pack, as it was her role as Shaman to see beyond the waking world. Where better place to do that than sleep? She knew she was dreaming, though.

Her paws picked carefully over broken skulls and tattered furs. Lightning arched over them and thunder roared the names of their ancestors, the owners of the very bones on which they stepped. The incline was steep. She could hear the rest of the pack, each wolf struggling up the slippery slope, bones and ashes giving way beneath their paws. She could not see the summit- they were climbing, it seemed, into the sky itself. And then the ground shook- the mountain of bones gave way beneath her paws, and the dead, foggy eyes of the previous Alpha met hers, as the severed head rolled toward her. Panic and fear consumed, and she slipped from the slope, falling. into the real world, in her real body, in a real den.

She shook out her fur, heart racing against the inside of her chest. The dream was not an unfamiliar one, but a universal dream almost every Shaman before her had experienced in this pack. It was representative of little that they didn't know, and thus she discarded it. There was no need to alert an Alpha or be concerned; every wolf in the pack knew they were at war, even if blood was not currently being spilled. She rose carefully from the den, white pelt gleaming in the morning light. She tested the air, carefully, as if trying to determine what this day would bring. A sense of quiet, peace. She walked aimlessly, toward no direction in particular, a hum softly emerging from her closed muzzle.

Jazzy ran across the pack lands, freshly woken up and with the realization that he was a late riser. His paws were swift against the ground, grizzled brown and black fur just a flash between the trees. He finally scented someone of the pack- two someones, actually, Vannah and Vitalli.

"Hey, double Vs!" He called, almost tripping over himself like a pup as he staggered to an abrupt stop in front of them. His grin was priceless, however, in a very I-meant-to-do-that smirk. "I slept in, missed all the morning gossip, it seems. Unless you two have any tasty morsels of information you'd like to cough up?" Jazzy smirked again, eyes practically beaming with a sort of natural happiness the rest of the pack seemed too sleepy to feel. He hoped it didn't make him seem obnoxious (though it probably did) but they'd deal with it. After all, someone had to be in a good mood, and he figured it might as well be him.

Vannah smiled and shook her head, "No sorry Jazzy. Nothings happened lately...We're all suppper bored." She said placeing her black face on the ground to be pressed by her black paws. Her brown torso shined in the sunlight makeing it a golden color.

Avinash sighed and pushed to his paws, deciding to join the others. Maybe he could come out of his so called 'shell'. His Mother had always told him he needed to interact more. Not that he listened. He trotted over, head lowered in respect to the Delta and the others.

"Hello Avinash. Nice to see your not being so recluseive." Vannah said bringing her head back up. She streatched to warm up her mustles which had frozen in her fetal position.
