Sorrelstar called out to all the cats below her. "Pixel, please step forward. I, Sorrelstar, leader of Mintclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this loner. She will train hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Pixel, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Sorrelstar whispered very silently "Say I do."
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Pixel, from this moment you will be known as Birdtail. StarClan honors your virtues, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Mintclan" Sorrelstar finally had a moment to breathe. She rested her head on Birdtail's and whispered "Lick my shoulder." I will give her mentor in private. She will only have her mentor for a few days. Sorrelstar thought to herself.

Sparrowfur watched the meeting, smiling with his head rested sideways
on his paws. "Who's that, I wonder if that cats new. I've never seen her befo-" Sparrowfur
cut himself off, his eyes big and round. Tears welling up in his eyes. He raised
his head, he then felt as if the wind had been knocked out of him. Sparrowfur's
expression didn't change, but his body language did. He looked as if he was
about to leap out of his fur. Sparrowfur whispered silently to himself "S-sister?"

Pixel jumped up the tree and next to Sorrelstar. She didn't stare at the
rest of the clan, just straight at Sorrelstar. Pixel did what Sorrelstar told
her to do. But she hesitated as the leader spoke 'At the cost of your life.'
Pixel barely knew anybody in the clan, but she still spoke proudly "I do."
Birdtail's eyes shined as she was given her new name, she loved it! Birdtail
licked the leader's shoulder and smiled at the rest of the clan.

Foxkit smiled when the butterfly flew again "Yay! Yay!" Foxkit chanted
as he hopped up. The butterfly flew high in the air before flying off into distance.
Foxkit looked at Sorrelstar as Tigerleaf pointed her out "Or maybe that will be you,
or Gingerstripe, or even some random kittypet someday!"
