Rio Ren stood near the entrance of the Pokemon Showcase's building, odd coloured eyes watching the happenings carefully, his pokemon by his side. He turned to look down at his new friend, a female Charmander. He'd been one of the last to pick his starter and he was certainly surprised to see that she was one of the few left. Usually, from what he'd heard, the little fire type was a favourite amongst trainers. That didn't matter to him, thought. He ready adored the little guy. A rare smile graced his lips as he gave her a little pat on the head before turning back to watch the show before them.

(The rules said I could have one Shiny pokemon. I interpreted 'clarify' as in 'make sure it is known on the form that the pokemon is a shiny pokemon or not'. As a suggestion, maybe the rule should read "Ask permission" rather than "Clarify")

(It really is okay. I didn't take any offense to it. I do understand the stress when users do not follow rules as I have been a Mod for an adoptable species once. Is my OC accepted? and if it possible, could I get a brief recap?)

(Well, yes, of course. ^^ Thank you for your understanding. I've been so sleep deprived and stressed out. And the shiny Metagross is allowed as well, though I would like to be alerted as to when your OC will find it. ^^ For a recap? All trainers are currently in Sallisaw City. Three trainers, along with Professor Redwood and the first Gym Leader Gaeani, have headed to train on route 111. Everyone else is attending a Pokémon Showcase, in which the Elite Four member William is a judge and Elite Four Yuki is a participant. Professor Redwood is trying to deliver a special prototype and papers for a new Pokéball that the new trainers should know of.)

After having arrived late to pick his starter pokemon, Damien had ended up going with Chimchar, a fire type pokemon. He hadn't had any preferences beforehand as to which starter pokemon he wanted but as he interacted with Chimchar he realized the decision he made to choose the pokemon was one he surely wouldn't regret. Even if the little chimp did act much like a toddler would, clinging to him as Damian held him and whatnot.
Naming the Chimchar Agni, he then traveled to Sallisaw City where he then saw the large building that was hosting the Pokemon Showcase. There was large balloons hanging everywhere and a whole bunch of people standing around, chatting excitedly about the show that was to be held. As a guy, he really couldn't careless about which girl was to win the Princess Key. He only started toward the buildings sliding doors because he wished to see different pokemon that trainers had.
As he walked, he glanced causally to a guy whom had a charmander by his side. Briefly he looked between his starter and the other guys and smirked slightly. He was indeed growing attached very quickly to Agni.
