Redclaw

Redclaw snapped out of his daze at the sound of her voice. He looked up to see her sitting in one of the huge oaks surrounding the camp. As if in instinct, he leaped up the tree and sat with her. Their tails hung down from the branch, almost touching, as he began to speak. "Ivy.. I think it's time I was straight out with you.' He looked her in the eye, admiring their Colour."I .. I really like you, Ivy." He whispered "and you want to be a medicine cat, so I wouldn't be able to be with you. But, if it's what you want I'll support you in it, because Ivy.." He trailed off, his voice barely a whisper, "I love you" he looked across at the beautiful scenery, and realised, his tail was entwined with hers.

Ivy looked at Redclaw and her smile turned into a frown, 'I'm so sorry, Red. But this is my dream. I hope you do find a cat someday, I just guess its not me.' She moved her tail up to her paws and looked at a leaf, dangling from a branch.
