"Soul, huh? Well, I'm Kuma," she said. She scratched her neck with a hind-paw. "Where're ya from, Soul?"

"Urhm...nowhere," she said, smiling guiltily and jokingly.

[Ser'reth]

Kuma snorted. "Oh, come on! You gotta be from someplace!" Her eyes flickered to a scuttling mouse as it suddenly darted from the roots of a tree. She turned away from Soul and chased after it. Within a few minutes she returned with it in her jaws. "I was too quick for it," she bragged.

"Yup.Betcha you were," said Soul, smiling."Hey, do you have a brother?"

[Ser'reth]

"Huh? Well, yeah," Kuma said, a bit startled by the sudden change of subject. "Why?"

Codi grumbled under his breath as he laid beside the calming lake. He shooed away a buzzing mosquito with his tail and watched the clouds as they drifted above. He glanced at his mother for a second, then turned back, unwilling to start a conversation.

Knite howled again, this time more from defeat than anything else. He sighed as his stomach snarled at him and looked around for a long moment. The sky had begun to darken and his legs were barely able to hold him. He needed to rest, but was reluctant to give up the search. After a while, he turned and walked home.

Soul heard a howl in the distance."Hey, did you hear that?" she said, her ears pricked."Oh, never mind.Anyway, I have a brother.He's more of a bother, though."

Kuma giggled. "He sounds like a riot," she joked.

Eagle ran up to them but he tripped over a branch and tumbled into Kuma. "Oww! Sorry Kuma." He stood up and shook his head. His amber eyes stopped on Soul and his tawny fur instinctively began to bristle,"Who are you? I've never seen you on Forest Pack Territory." He took a step closer breathing in her scent.

Dawnfire happily bounded over to her siblings,"Hey whats taking you guys so long?" She stopped seeing Soul. Her blue eyes went from Soul to Kuma. She sat down her white tail sweeping across the ground,"Kuma who is this?"

"This is Soul," Kuma said, "And Soul, these are my siblings, Eagle and Dawnfire."

Eagle sat down with his tongue hanging out. He turned to his sister,"Where is she from? She smells wierd but somewhat familiar."
Dawnfire looked at Soul closely,"Are you from another pack?"
