Padding over to the three cats, the commotion seemed to die down almost as quickly as it came along. Glancing back over at her medicine cat, she spoke softly. "So it would seem we now know who the third cat is.." Looking at Mistfeather, she continued. "What did you hear?"

Bramblepelt nodded tersely. He watched the trio intently.

Mistfeather thought for a moment before replying. 'Well, at first whenever I had a problem, I could hear a voice helping me out. I just thought it was the wind you know, it does weird things, but then the voices, they started piling on top of each other, giving me solutions to problems I didn't understand, screaming threats, whispering sweet words, everything and I... I couldn't hear anything but them! Then the ghost cat moved towards Stormstripe. Icepaw relaxed and could see a little clearer. The voices and the noises in my head softened down, like a stream not a raging river.' She replied, getting frantic near the middle until she relaxed herself.

lemonpaw purred and looked at the ginger tom, "you sound like me when I was eight moons old." she teased, flicking his shoulder with her tail. "you'll know it when you smell it." she added, "alder bark - well, looks like bark on an alder tree. I doubt you've never seen catmint or poppies, and burdock is a purple thistle, we need it's roots."

The warrior grinned at her tease and listened to her carefully about the herbs. "Alright, could I ask you a question dear sweet lovable Lemonpaw?" The ginger tom asked as they padded farther into the forest, he made sure to keep an eye out for the wanted herbs.

the medicine cat apprentice stopped and daced the flame pelted tom, "sure," she meowed, sitting down on the forest floor.

"Okay, this is a long shot because I don't know how you would react. But would you like to train with me? Like I can teach you fighting moves so you can protect yourself when the strong, powerful, handsome warrior isn't there with you." The ginger tom said as he then smiled at her, really hoping she would say yes. He would never forgive himself if she was hurt.

lemonpaw flicked her ear, "really?" she meowed suddenly, her ears pricking, "o-of course!" she purred, standing up. suddenly her ears fell back and she licked her chest briefly, "s-sorry, I sat on a thorn." she muttered, trying to cover up her sudden show of energy. training as half warrior, half medicine cat? she knew medicine cat apprentices trained in fighting techniques, but her mentor wasn't around at the moment, she had to train herself. she looked back at foxlight and smiled weakly, "thank you." she meowed eventually, giving his shoulder a quick lick in thanks.

"The wind doesn't speak, Mistfeather. Who do you think these voices were?" She hoped it wasn't StarClan intervening, for whatever reason. If a misunderstanding came between the clan and the Dark Forest... well.. she didn't want to think about it.

The medicine cat could swear he had put permanent pawsteps into the earth below just by standing there awkwardly for so long. His ear flicked as he quickly thought of an excuse to get himself out of such an odd conversation. "Oh, I just remembered there's something I have to do.." With that, he padded off, towards the camp entrance. The scent of DarkClan was fading away, but he had a brief thought of tracking it down.

Mistfeather relaxes a little and returns the nuzzle. Then she looks right at Lilystar and says 'The noises? It.... THEY sound similar to cats, but very wispy...'

The tom was glad that his ginger fur hid a small blush rising up from her excitement of teaching her. "It's nothing really, I just to be able to make sure you are safe." He said ducking his head as he then quickly thought of another idea. "Hey, do you think you could teach me some herbs? In case you or Marshstep are busy and a Medicine Cat is needed? It's okay if you don't want to, it was just a thought." The warrior rambled as he then glanced around to see if there were any herbs near by, and just as he was about to look away he spotted something. "Found some poppy seeds!" The ginger tom exclaimed excitedly as he then pointed to the seeds.

The small medicine cat apprentice was near the LightClan border and she was hoping she wouldn't have to come face to face with any cats from the rival clan.
