Evorine glanced at him,then she smirked affectionately."Oh...I don't know...such a handsome wolf, I don't know if my average standards can take it!"She cooed teasingly.Then she snickered,at his attemp to speak to her.It was quite comical,him getting all flustered over her,it make her laugh within herself.Then she looked him in the eyes,her amber one's meeting his.

Shuin smiled and nuzzled her back soflty and gave her a lick on the muzzle. She was his now as much as he was hers. They would rule the pack together and survive together. He wouldn't be alone anymore, he wouldn't need to worry all that much. The weight of responsibility on his shoulders lifted a little as he shared it with his new mate. His new mate... He liked the sound of that thought. He liked knowing he had someone who gave him their heart and would love seeing him all the time. He'd return such affection with his own, that much was certain. Now...what would they do.

"Then I guess the pack has a new alphess. Hmmm...care to take a walk?" Shuin asked, his eyes practically glowing as he stared into hers. He had a plan up his fur, a place to show her. Something that meant the world to him just as much as leading the pack did.

"Well you know all the females think that." Deter teased back with a wide smile before taking in a deep breath. "You're different Evorine. I want you to be mine, I want us to be...together." Deter nuzzled her lightly before looking into her eyes for approval. His hair stood on edge from his sudden boldness and confidence. What if she still said no? Well he was past the point of doing anything about it. It all came down to her decision. Whether or not she'd accept him or not would spell his mood for the rest of the season for sure. In the back of his mind, he couldn't wait to tell Bobo all of this. "Tomorrow, I'll tell Bobo all about Evorine. Have to bring him something to eat first though."

Rose was practically glowing as she rose to her paws. "Sure I'd love to go on a walk with you." She barked cheerly and she nudged Shuin to his paws. With a large smile she licked her new mate's muzzle happily. She hadn't been this happy in a long time, ages it seemed. she bounded around her mate with joy. Alphess... such a powerful, strong title. Now hers, she couldn't believe this was happening. Half sure this was a dream.
Her gold eyes locked with Shuin's happily, ready to let him take her anyplace he wanted to. A dangerous thought crept into her mind. It was still early winter which would mean they would have a chance to breed later on in the winter. Rose could only imagine what it'd be like to have pups, to have such fragile creatures rely on you for survival....

Evorine smirked at him happily,"Oh,I knew you would fall for me.I could see that from a mile away,you are so easy to read." She jeered teasingly."But,I never expected to fall for you..." She said more seriously,and quietly."You know,I've never liked anybody near as much as I like you,this is nothing like anything I have been through..."She spoke very quietly,just above a whisper now. Then she looked at him,then she smirked."Are you sure you can love all of this?" She asked him lovingly,swishing her tail at his face.
I would have never expected this... She thought, a bit exasperated.

Shuin chuckled as he got to his feet happy she wanted to go along. "Well then follow me!" Shuin exclaimed with excitement as he began to bound through the snow and off towards his secret place that wasn't so secret to some of the others. At the very least, no one bugged him when he was there in his lonesome. No one dared follow him or bring them their problems when he was there. It was his time, his alone time to himself. It had such a beautiful view of his territory that could see through and above the trees. At night, it offered the best place to view the stars as one lay there alone. He wouldn't be alone anymore now would he? No, he had a mate to share all of that with, he had a special someone to appreciate it all. Shuin couldn't help but laugh out into the air as he made his way through their forest with perfect agility. His body felt like it was flying as he dodged each tree in his path. Not a single paw step out of place, the speed ever so constant, confidence with every stride. This was their forest and he knew it perfectly. The light cold breeze that blew past teased his fir with each movement and each jump that he made. He was having too much fun this night but he didn't care. He felt awakened, alive, complete for the first time in too long and it was all because of Rose. The new wolf who set his world a blaze. What more could he ask for? Shuin's eyes lit up as he reached the frozen over lake. He didn't stop but instead he took it head on, sliding with precision over the ice. He spun in circles as he slid before turning to face Rose. "Almost there, little bit more." Shuin smiled as he slid backwards with ease before turning and giving his slide direction. He slid towards the frozen waterfall at the far end before turning off to the snow to hit the embankment. "Feel like a climb?" Shuin smirked as he slowly made his way uphill through the trees. Each step was carefull placed now, making sure he didn't slide back down and take Rose with him. Once they reached the top Shuin padded his way over to a large flat rock that was frozen into place at the waters surface at the very top of the waterfall. He lay down in the middle and looked out over the edge. The entire territory was spread out before them as well as the nights sky. The moon was up and the urge to howl overtook him as Shuin's muzzle rose up into the air to let out a mighty howl. This one didn't quite read anything but...Happyness.

"Easy to read? How am I easy to read...figures." Deter thought and sighed inwardly. He supposed he didn't put much stock into hiding his emotions and body language...he didn't really have a reason to before. Being read by Evorine...he supposed she earned some points in her favor for that. Just another reason why he was desiring her all the more. Deter listened to her every word with anticpipation and had to rewind what she said a bit. She had fallen for him then? It was decided! She had fallen for him...he had a...m...m...mate. Why was that so hard to think? He supposed it was because he didn't believe any female would fall for him, never the less he'd fall for too. There it was again, her teasing, it was starting to drive him wild. How could she make him like that so much. Deter snorted as her tail swished against him. He had very big toothy grin on his face as he shook his head. "You don't know what you're getting yourself into." "That's ok, because I don't know what I'm heading into either..."

Deter's grin faded as his eyes held hers with wanting and possibly that...L word. He knew he had fallen but just how hard had he hit the ground? He still couldn't utter that L word but he knew she'd probably fix that in him eventually. Deter just wasn't that kind of wolf to go around saying, "I love you" and other various things. He'd try his best to make her feel l...lo...loved. There we go, he'd try his best to make her feel loved. "Oh I can handle you, but can you handle this dashing, strong wolf right here?" Deter threw her question back teasingly as well. He puffed his chest out and held his head high, making him look bigger and hopefully more dashing. Though the smile probably didn't help his tough look very much.

Rose smiled, bounding after Shuin. She followed him happily, leaping through the snow. A breeze rushed at her as they ran, not heistating as she leaped onto the ice and sliding after her mate. Laughing she climbed after him before laying down at his side.
“Oh Shuin, this is amazing.” Nuzzling her mate happily. “This view is simply breath taking....” She tilted her head back the sky filled with stars. “Simply stunning Shuin, simply stunning.”

Evorine smirked at him,with much humor in her expression."Oh,I think I can handle you,your just a big ball of fuzz and skin.Oh Beta, you just wait and see who's the more powerful one of this relationship." She jeered defiantly.
Her teasing was loving,not hurtful,she made sure of that.She was very glad he was the type of mate who could take a joke,not a sensitive pup,who would make a giant ruckus over a tease. "Hey Beta,you like to wrestle?" She said affectionately. Then,she jumped,right on top of him,pinning him to the snowy earth."Personally,I think I can take you."She said,challenging him.

"Isn't it?" Shuin replied, a wide smile gracing his maw. Oh all the times they could come back here and just be alone from the rest of the world. He'd relish each moment he had with Rose now and he couldn't wait to do everything with her. Deter might not like this...Deter. His smile faded as he thought about his Beta. Deter might be pissed at first but he'd get over it soon enough. Being under Rose in rank would be a blow to his pride but he knew he was a tough wolf who could handle it well. Shuin closed his eyes and nuzzled into Rose softly, enjoying the feel of her fur against him. It all felt so right, so nice to him and so new. He knew he'd be used to it in no time and so would the others. They'd grow to love her just as much as he did right now and that meant something to Shuin. He opened his eyes and looked out on their territory. It was theirs to rule together, theirs to guard and keep the pack safe. His eyes scanned through the trees and back over to where the dens lay. He gave a quick grin as he observed the spot he had once been laying down before his eyes caught movement and his grin vanished. He adjusted his sight a little more to see the strange object moving through the bushes before his eyes went wide with shock. His hair went ridged and every muscle in his body tightened.

"Intruder..." A low growl echoed out as he snarled and stood up right away. "Come now, let’s great our guest." Shuin's voice dripped with malice as he bolted away and down the slope and quickly slid over the ice. He tried to pick up the intruder's scent but the wind was going sideways and nothing could be picked up ahead of him, or behind him for that matter. He didn't care too much however, all he could think about was keeping his pack safe as he tore his way through the trees as silently as he could. How stupid could he have been? He left his post to frolic around with Rose, he left his friends to the mercy of this would be murderer. No...no he mustn’t blame himself. He was just a wolf after all who had found love, he needn't be so hard on himself. It still made him feel horrible but he pushed that aside for now. As he honed in on his target his speed didn't let up. The first sighting of the foreign wolf made his blood boil as he leapt through the air and tackled the intruder. A loud surprise yelp sounded out as teeth met fur and the two rolled around in a tangled angry ball. Shuin was the first to gain the upper hand and pinned the intruder to the ground, snarling and showing his fangs freely. He knew Rose would back him up but the tension never left his body.

"WHO ARE YOU!" Shuin snapped at the face of the intruder who only grinned in response. "ANSWER ME!" Shuin shouted and nipped at the wolf's throat.

"The Baron sends his deep regrets he couldn't meet you the first time around, so he sent me." The wolf replied, his cocky smile still defiantly on his face.

"The Baron? Does it look like I know who that is, why should I care about him?" Shuin questioned, his eyes still holding a murderous gleam.

"He wants to meet the head of your pack in two days for it'll take that long for him to be ready to meet you." The lone wolf explained calmly. Shuin thought this bit of news over a little before he snarled at the intruder.

"Why would I want to meet him? This is my territory, I make the rules around here." Shuin growled, he didn't like where this might be headed. The intruder merely chuckled lightly and shook his head as best he could.

"Because the baron is a powerful wolf, he owns much more territory then you can ever imagine. He's a king among kings, an alpha among alphas, you should be honored to even meet him personally. He'll be coming in two days to talk to you, be ready." The intruder spoke with such ease that it almost frightened Shuin. Baron? Did he really exist or was this wolf just trying to save his own neck? Shuin turned his head to the cave entrance as he heard noises.

Oh the things he could do to a bold wolf like her. Deter's smile couldn't get any bigger. He could tell being mates with Evorine was going to be an experience he was never going to forget. "I'd like to see you try to be the more powerful one." Deter challenged but soon found himself on his back, his mate pinning him down. She knew just what he liked, she was perfect for him. Such a thought scared and made him happy all at the same time. She'd be close to him, she'd hold his heart in her paws. She would be the one who could break him forever and that terrified him, but it also invigorated him as well. If anyone was to work miracles on Deter, she'd be the one to do it. "You think you can take me?! Ha!" Deter laughed and licked up under her muzzle as he shifted his weight and rolled with her, this time being the one on top and pinning her to the ground. He bent his head down and nuzzled her nose. "I've seen better moves from a rabbit!" He chuckled with a broad grin. A yelp caught his attention as an ear cocked to the side. That sounded like a surprise yelp coming from somewhere outside. He looked around and noticed the group had gone quiet. No longer amused by he and Evorine but to something happening on the outside. A few moments passed when he heard Shuin shouting, that did it. He looked down at Evorine with sorrowful eyes as he leapt off her and bolted through one of the cave exits. Ever protective of his leader he raced out of the cave system to see three wolves, one pinned down by Shuin who didn't look happy at all. Shuin turned to look at Deter coming out of the cave only to be caught off guard by the intruder who slipped out from under him and proceeded to bolt through the bushes. Deter gave chase, flying past his alpha and not to his knowledge, his alphess.

Shuin sat still, his mind going into overdrive as he pondered out the situation at hand. A Baron who owned more land then he could imagine? A rival pack never the less...something much bigger than his own. Was it just a scare tactic perhaps? Make them leave this land for some other pack to take over? No, he wouldn't give up without a fight; he wouldn't let his pack down. His eyes held worry as he sought out ideas of what to do. As the rest of the pack came out of the cave, Shuin frowned and sighed, this was going to take some explaining.

Rose beamed down happily as they perched on the large rocks. Her bright gold eyes scanned the land before settling on her new mate. She licked his chin lovingly.
Jolted by his sudden movement Rose looked after him, but didn't move for a moment or two before thorwing herself up on her paws. She wheeled around and sprinted the direction Shuin had gone.
Sliding to a stop as Shuin pinned the intruder to the ground, Rose's thoughts spun around her head faster than she could understand. What was going on? Who was this strange intruder and what did he want? Who was Baron?
Her head snapped up as she heard Deter run from the caves. He must of heard Shuin yelling. Growling, Rose cursed silently as Deter gave chase to the intruder he let escape. Taking her position next to her mate, Rose nuzzled Shuin quickly and softly. She imagianed she was just as confused as he was.
