Brairpaw padded after her "Do you guys do this a lot?" she asked quietly

"You mean patrol?" Sootshine asked, cocking her head to one side. She stared down at her paws before mewing, "Never mind, we need to get going. Where's Graypaw?" She asked, looking around for the gray tom.

Graypaw heard his name and ran out of camp. "Sorry."
Darkshadow thought about the she-cats in the Clan. "Hmmm."

Sootshine sprinted through the forest with the apprentices close behind. While she ran she noticed how bare the trees looked. Leaf bare was nearly here. Soon it would be snowing. She shuddered at the thought as she came up to the river. This river divided the two territories: Darkclan and Moonclan. She peered over on the other side to see thick grass and bushes, surrounded by maple and oak trees. She quickly marked her scent on a pine tree and moved on to the next.

FangStar left IceShimmer, and walked out of his den. The wind was chilling, sending shivers down his spine. He grinned at the cold, as it made him feel as tough his heart was hardening. He liked it. And so would his clan after they won that battle, in leafbare. His grin widened as he looked at the jagged ring around his leg. If only time would speed up a little, he'd already be king of two clans! He laughed inaudibly. His clan seemed so happy, maybe a bit too happy. His grin disappeared as the sun stroked his fur.

Luckypaw looked around Was that someone laughing? she thought as she dropped her prey in the prey pile. She had caught several birds and a squirrel.

Brairpaw looked at the clan territory Wow! this is amazing! she thought as she kept running.

Graypaw trailed behind to talk with Brairpaw. "Hey!" He meowed.

Birdwing thought for a moment.
"How about.. By the little stream? Not the territory marker, but the one by the training hollow? There are usually a couple of watervoles or squirrels there," she reasoned.
