SnowStorm padded into camp looking for her kits so they could take a good nap. she felt much better after her run in the forest. but now she was once more ready to tuck in with her kits for the night. where are they? they are usually playfighting by the nursery but they are no where in sight!
JackalKit groaned inwardly... how were they supposed to find their way back... the newest scent was fangstar and there was so much fangstar scent it was a lot of work to find out which was the freshest.... it seemed like all of it was from today and all of it was heading in different directiuons...

FangStar smiled, and purred, "Hey. You alright?" He was so glad to to be next to her, her sweet scent filling his nostrils. He was blushing quite badly, but too bad. He loved being there, next to her.

[Glowbee]

Birdwing pretended to think.
"Well," she mewed, "I'm considering eating my brother and Arrowashes alive, but other than that, fine," she purred jokingly, feeling calmer.

FangStar nodded, wanting to crush ArrowAshes's skull but pretended he hadn't noticed she had even mentioned his name. He grinned, and said nothing. It was good to have her mad at ArrowAshes, at least she wouldn't be conversing with him so much now.

She watched him closely, then continued.
"They said you didn't really like me, you were just playing with my mind," she mewed, staring at the ground, scared it was true.

FangStar watched as he saw Birdwing storm out of the camp toward the forest. Should he run after her? Yes, he should, that would work ever so best. He grinned and rushed after her, hoping to catch up soon. It was cold out in the forest, maybe it was the snow on the ground, but it nearly made him shiver.

ArrowAshes moaned, "We're not getting her back anytime soon, now, are we?" He frowned, knowing it was his fault. He should have GingerClaw do the talking.

Iceshadow caught the scent of a squirrel and turned towards it. Belly low and barely skimming the ground and tail straight as a snake, she weaved towards the furry creature. Her hind legs waggled as she prepared to pounce, but a fresh cat scent drifted into her nostrils and also sent the squirrel running. A yowl of fury escaping her, she hurled herself at the squirrel but missed it as it swarmed up a tree. Tail tip twitching she stalked through the undergrowth and was surprised to find Jackalkit and Moonkit. Now her eyes widened in surprise. Jackalkit! Moonkit! What are you two doing so far outside of camp? You know kits aren't supposed to leave the camp. Sighing she twitched her whiskers. Well we better get back to camp, she continued without waiting for an answer. Snowstorm must be worried sick!

FangStar was a little stunned, sure he knew the toms could have said something like this... But hearing it, it hurt him a bit. He quickly changed his pattern of thought, and crept up closer to BirdWing and whispered into her ear, "But I love you.. I really... love you." He bit his lip afterwords. Had he done it right? He looked at her longingly, his eyes wide, and and rather scared. It was the one side of him, the only side of him that let out fear.
