"Look, Snowfeet. You have a mate, a Clan, and another kit at home. I have nothing without this kit. Nothing. So just go home and stop worrying about it!" Death hissed.

Birchfoot licked Stripekit again. "Your brother has been gone for a while. She just misses him."

"Stop yelling," Tiny mewed. "Who are?" he asked Snowfeet.

[raindrop,]

Death stepped in before Snowfeet could say anything. "That is Snowfeet," he said softly. "The cat who wants to take you from us."

"Why?" Tiny mewled. "Isn't she my mama?" he glanced at Cinder. "You're papa.. you said."

[raindrop,]

"No, Tiny. I'm Papa, and the black cat beside you is Mama. This white cat is Snowfeet, and she's not your Mama." Death stood the kit.

Tiny stared at Snowfeet. "Why does she want to take?" he asked. He forgot to say 'me', but it didn't matter.

Cinder shrugs. "I don't know Tiny." She meows, lying to her kit. She didn't want to but she had to.

Tiny looked back at Cinder. "I'm cold," he mewed, changing the subject entirely, though he didn't know it.

Cinder curls her tail around her kit tightly. "Cuddle up next to me and you'll be warm." She meows softly into his ear.

Flame nods in excitement. "Yeah! Let's go!" She exclaims, running around in circles.

Patch nodded, and looked around the area. He still couldn't smell much, so his best bet would be his eyesight. "Try looking for prey." He advised Flame quietly, as if a mouse was right in front of them, waiting to be caught.
