It was the smell of food that woke Smokey up. The kittypet yawned, sitting up. At once, his owners noticed that he was awake, and put his collar on him. That's what they always did each morning. He slowly walked over to his food bowl and groaned. Just dry food again... the cat though, sighing. Couldn't his owners see that he was tired of having the same, boring food every single day? His two-leg owners tried to approach the annoyed cat, but it was a bad idea. Smokey hissed, and nearly bit his owner - but that was when something happened. Smokey gasped, feeling a sudden pain...

Smokey woke up, expecting to be in his cozy home - But, instead, he was outside of his home! He was just near the door - but it was closed. He mewed and stratched the door, but it was no use. Were his owners tired of him? He sighed. At least I still have this collar... the cat thought, looking at his green collar. Whenever he moved, his little bell rang. Perhaps I'll find some cats like me? Maybe life as an outsider isn't as bad as I think? the confused kittypet thought, slowly walking away.

Lilydapple wandered the forest, and the smell of herbs entered. Maybe I'll collect some herbs for Silkheart, so I don't go back to camp empty-pawed. The calico then proceeded to search for herbs. The twolegplace has a lot of marigold... I'll start there. She thought, and trotted towards the twoleg-inhabited place. Out of the corner of her green orbs, a silver-grey tom caught her eye. Just get the marigold and go. She thought.

Lilydapple didn't see any marigold anywhere. A kittypet might know! She thought. The calico padded to a grey and white she-cat with a pink collar, assuming she was a kittypet. "Um.. Have you seen any marigold?" She asked. She has never talked to a kittypet before.

Feather turned to the sound of a she-cat, she looked the cat up and down then acknowledged her words, 'Hi, well you are near my owner's garden, and will have to ask you to leave. But, the marigold's are up here, you can take a few. The molly directed the cat through twists and turns and led her to the Marigold patch in her garden, 'Here you go! She meowed.
