"It's alright, don't you worry." Dapplestream nodded. Sunlight beamed proudly into the den, leaving the stone ground warm. "I'll go see what we're running low on, then we can go out a collect some more of it." She said. Dapplestream padded up to a wall. It had small circles in it where a cat could come and easily slip a herb in. She scanned over the herbs, mumbling each herb's name as she checked through them. "Coltsfoot... Cobweb... Juniper berries..."

She smiled sweetly and nodded "Yes, it's beautiful. I see you have your paws full right now." Fawnstar gestured towards Rabbitpaw with her tail "I just wanted you and Rabbitpaw to come on a dawn patrol with Reedfoot and I. Hopefully Rabbitpaw can let out some of his endless energy."

His ears pricked at the word 'patrol' and he felt like he was about to jump out of his fur "Yay! I get to go on a patrol!!!" He screamed, hearing himself echo. Rabbitpaw darted around the whole camp again, jumping over Fawnstar when he ran.

"Rabbi-" he cut himself off mid-sentence, returning his attention back to the leader, "I would be honoured to do so, and yes, hopefully get at least a fraction of his energy out," he laughed lightly, bowing his head in respect as he chased after his apprentice quickly, in hopes that he could stop him from causing more destruction.

honeytail stretched again, padding over to the entrance of her and dapplestream's den. she squinted; the sun was quite bright for this early in the morning."thank you, that really would help," she mewed to the younger of the two. the orange she-cat had been worrying about her herb storage - what if a battle broke out between the clans? or a fox attacked camp, leaving their warriors weak and injured? what if a sudden bout of greencough spread across the forest? honeytail couldn't take any chances.

After counting through all the herbs, Dapplestream turned around. "Fortunately, we're only low on catmint and, somehow, cobwebs." She sighed with relief. "Cobwebs will be no problem. To get catmint, we'll have to cross into twolegs territory if we wish to find an abundance. The twolegs should be away from there camp this time of day." She hoped so. "Will we get the cobwebs or catmint first?"

"hm..." she thought for a moment. cobwebs and catmint... not a very hard decision."let's get the catmint, first. there are many other things we can use in place of cobwebs, but catmint is one of a kind. and since cobwebs are practically everywhere, we could find some quick if we really needed them." but catmint was much harder to get, they'd have to plan out the trip carefully to avoid twolegs. "i know of a house with twolegs who wake up very late; i've seen catmint in their garden, but i think they own a kittypet. we have to be sure he won't alert his twolegs."

She nodded. Where catmint did grow in the forest, it was far out of the clan's territory. They could get cobwebs straight from the camp if they wanted to, spiders were so common. She walked up to the entrance of the den. "You'll lead the way." Dapplestream understood how careful and quiet she would have to be. She was already a grown cat, unlike the other apprentices, who never ran out of energy and couldn't stay quiet for a heartbeat. "We'll get the cobwebs another day."
