Stormchaser narrowed his eyes slightly when he heard silence. I guess I better find out my own way. He tried to enter Solstice's mind, but only heard silence. What the hell? How does she have a barrier? She doesn't have skyfire. He glanced at the queen with a more thoughtful and frightened look in his blue eyes.

Scorch nodded, then turned to the NightWing prisoners. She walked the opposite way, counting the heads of the black dragons. Scorch then turned back to the queen. "Eleven prisoners in all."

Solstice felt buzzing in the back of her mind and quickly pushed it out with ease. Stupid NightWings, with their common mind readers.

((Casual bump again))

Stormchaser growled as he felt himself pushed from her thoughts. I'll find some way to get into her mind. Somehow. He started struggling against the chains that bound him as they reached the portal. "I won't let you take us anywhere," he snarled angrily, getting ready to breath fire at her.

Solstice raised an eye ridge and stepped away from the portal. "The lowest of the low is getting privileged by the queen. You may go first." she beckoned two more guards. "Escort him, please."

[Yveltal]

Stormchaser hissed at the guards, struggling against the them. The portal didn't feel.. right. It made his scales tingle. Eventually they forced him through. It was strangely dark, and he felt wrong. It started to grow lighter, and they came out in the rainforest from the tunnel. Stormchaser glanced around, slightly taken aback. He had never heard of the tunnels nor had ever seen them.

Solstice went next. She made sure to keep her barb slightly poised for attack; these NightWings were shady. As she went through the tunnel she felt the familiar surge of tingling that made her scales prickle. As she came out she mumbled, "God knows what creatures would want to live here." She hated getting her claws stuck under roots or her horns caught on vines; that was why she lived in the desert instead.

((The NightWing prisoners are being taken to a slaughtering banquet by Solstice's army right now; they only survive if they can kill her warriors. Then she lets them serve her.))
