Rift ignored the prince's summons, but flew faster, still snarling. Hatred bubbled up inside him and pushed him for a swifter flight. He didn't care what toll it took on his well-being as long as he got to rip that dragon to shreds.

Oblivion entered the throne room, walking up to Queen Solstice. He bowed. "My Queen, I have some news to report. And I'd like to introduce Caiman." he said with a nod at the MudWing hybrid.

[AGGUA!]

Caiman- Caiman took a step back, knowing how much Solstice LOVED hybrids. She decided to keep her jaws shut.

(Flight time-skip)
He arrived at Solstice's palace with a grunt. He hid behind Caiman as the guards let Oblivion in, pretending to be a prisoner. As soon as he was in, he hid from their sight and slipped along the corridors with them, leading him to Solstice's throne room. Once Oblivion shut the door behind him, he swept a curtain in front of him and pressed his ear against the door, ready to eavesdrop.

Solstice greeted Oblivion with a smile. "Wonderful. It's nice to have a hybrid prisoner from two tribes that I don't rule. She might be worth something."

[AGGUA!]

Caiman- Caiman frowned. "Yes indeed," she thought bitterly. Maybe she really had been better off with those seawings...

[Yveltal]

Oblivion flicked his tongue in and out. "I followed the group of dragonets, but they split off and half went to the Ice Kingdom, the other to the Mud Kingdom. Wretched is following her brother as we speak." He ran a talon along the stone. "Also, two of the SeaWing queen's dragonets are in the Mud Kingdom with Rift. Prince Avalon and Princess Deep Sea." He glanced at Caiman. "Also, I wouldn't say Caiman is a... prisoner. She asked to come along with me."

Solstice tilted her diamond-shaped head. "Odd," she hissed smoothly. Her voice was as slippery as wet stones. "But okay with me. Also, I would have... Plans for those royals, if you could very nicely capture them. Either way, I'd like this MudWing hybrid if a cell, if possible. We can't have her running off and spilling our plans, can we?"

[AGGUA!]

Caiman- Caiman stepped back, crouching and spreading her wings. "With all due respect, Solstice, I would prefer to be treated as a guard or spy, not a prisoner."

"However, if you are to be treated like this, you must earn my trust. Hybrid, if you are going to rise to that position, you must earn it. Any dragon I have yet to meet in full is treated as a prisoner. However, I will not lock you in the rat-hole the NightWing prince is in; no, I will give you the best cell we have." Solstice dismissed Oblivion, saying, "If you must, please shut up that NightWing for me. He gets on my nerves far too often for his own good."

Rift thought about what he had heard, still hidden. So she has the NightWing prince locked up in a prison cell? I have to tell the others of this...

Caiman- Caiman hesitated. Was it worth all of this? "A cell? Can I at least get some sort of room?" I'll be the judge of these conditions... if not, I could bust out and warn the other seawings.
