Wings of Fire: A New Era (CLOSED; V.2)

Reaper- "Have you ever heard of these? Are they from the ice kingdom?" he asked. He had never heard of them, personally. But then again, he hadn't really heard of a lot of things. He preferred to stick to the southern regions, so he could stay closer to his contacts and the war, keeping tabs on Solstice.

"No, not particularly," Rift said, examining one of them with interest. "What's she saying about them?" he asked, gesturing at the seller.

((Gtg. It's about 10 where I am. See you after school!))

[AGGUA!]

Reaper- "That they can store and send messages," he said. He noticed that there was an ice shard strung on a pearl-encrusted leather cord, hanging around her neck. It seemed to be buzzing slightly, and she murmured something under her breath. He narrowed his eyes, meeting several con men before, but she didn't look like one of them. She wasn't begging for them to pay up. She wasn't trying to attract attention. "How much?" he demanded. "20 sapphires each," she replied. Reaper bit his lip. That would empty them out, but they could always go look for more sapphires in the river a few miles from Possibility. "Cord included?" "Yes," she replied, gesturing to a pile of identical leather cords, each with their own unique gemstone embedded into them. "What do you think?" he asked Rift. It sounded like it might be a good deal, but he wanted Rift's opinion, first. He spent majority of his time in possibility. He would better be able to tell a con man from the real thing.

Rift: "She doesn't seem like a con artist," he muttered. "Unlike that guy back there." He jabbed a claw at the salesdragon behind him asking fourteen gems for a fancy satchel. "I think we should do it. It would keep us in touch and we could share plans. Plus, she's wearing one and communicating with it right before our eyes!" He emptied his pouch of all the sapphires but three. "Here," he said, dumping the gems on the stand and picking out a cord with a gleaming emerald embedded in it. The salesdragon's face didn't crack with a greedy smile. She silently handed him a shard and he hooked the cord to it.

[AGGUA!]

Reaper- Reaper grabbed a shard for himself, picking out a cord with fiery rubies. He snapped the shard onto the clasp, putting it over his horns and letting it rest on his chest. They finally had something they could use against Queen Solstice! "We'll browse later. We need to find some more money to buy things with." He spread his wings, Rift doing the same, and he took off, heading for the river just outside of Possibility. He had seen more stands that he had been dying to check out for himself, but they didn't have anything to purchase them with.

Aw shoot, I'm not good with recaps!
Basically, Rift and Reaper are planning on sneaking into Queen Solstice's stronghold to see what they can find out about her, and they purchased some ice shards from a local in Possibility that give them the power to send, receive, and store messages with one another. Now they're flying towards the river, planning on finding more sapphires to trade for more goods.
Just add Falcon in somewhere!

Falcon splashed in the water and stuck her head in looking for the shimmering blue of gems

Yeah!

Reaper- Reaper dove into the water, coming out with a handful of shimmering gemstones. But when he looked closer, he saw that they were only useless pearls, and that those were sold in Possibility anyway. He flung them against a boulder, smashing some of them, others scattering between blades of grass.
