Mistheart watched as the silence continued to tick on. However, that was the least of his troubles. The petite russian blue watched as the young mollies face contorted into anger and pain. She was obviously going through some inner turmoil, one that the medicine cat wished he could so desperately help her with. But it was obviously not his battle. This was something that Sorrelstorm would have to go through, and Mistheart could only hope that in the end he had done the right thing, and that Sorrelstorm will have learned from the strife and his advice and eventually make the right choice. But watching her tail lash out randomly in anger, watching her grit her teeth in agitation and her eyes dilate as if she where about to cry made him feel rather perturbed, as he could not forsee the outcome. As she spoke about his being right, the medicine can only nodded ever so slightly, however his turquoise eyes flickered, revealing worry as her unpredictable movements grew worse. As she finally asked from some alone time, the medicine cat stood and turned to leave. "You don't have to thank me, Sorrelstorm. I am merely doing my job, guiding my family members and making sure my clan prospers and lives in harmony." Dipping his head farewell, Mistheart slipped into the creek and padded across to the other side, standing and shaking out his pelt before going deeper into Roseclan's territory. He needed to pick some Burdock Root. Even if there hadn't been in rat attacks in awhile, something could always happen, and thus he needed to be prepared. Unfortunately, Burdock roots grew in dry areas. So he had a ways to go. Parting his maw, the petite russian blue scented the air in search for the herb, doing his best to relax although thoughts of Alder and Sorrelstorm's argument, as well as Sunpaw's obedience issues haunted him.

Bone, admittedly, was not in the best of moods. After crossing endless barren meadows, stripped of endless vegetation or life due to the monstrous twoleg creations, the tonkinese had been starved, and scraping for every piece of prey. However, as he hit the mini thunderpaths that wound through a tiny twoleg territory, his luck had begun to look up. The strays there were oddly weak, and the kittypets balked at his very presence. Maybe because, although blind, he has succeed in humiliating individual cat that had dared oppose him. So, with a cross between disgusting kittypet food and delicious human food, he had returned to his healthy, regular weight, and full strength for his trek into the forest. Many a rogue had spoken to him of a clan named Roseclan. They said this clan was not to be trifled with. Well, he would be the judge of that, now wouldn't he? Many a clan he had crossed had been rather foolish and petty, in his most utmost opinion. They had scorned his unseeing slate eyes and his carelessness, and in return, those warriors had quite a few new scars and some embarrassing moments to keep hidden from their clanmates.

Scenting the air, Bone caught whiff of a crow nearby. A catch that large would be nice, given that he had been traveling all night to make it well into the forest, and hadn't had time for breakfast. Crouching low, the sinewy yet lean cream tom slid forward, silent and painstakingly slow. Being blind, Bone navigated differently from most individuals. Instead of depending on sight - which was rather tricky anyway - he smelled, and listened. Oh, did he listen. In the silentest of nights, he could clearly hear the breathing of a bird, and if he was close or it was really, really quiet, the heartbeat of numerous creatures. At the moment, it was relatively silent, except for the scuffling of the birds feet. However, in the crow cawed, it had sealed it's fate. Exploding forth with grace, power and accuracy that defied his ailment, Bone neatly snapped the crows neck. The crow's last caw faded in it's throat. As Bone dug into his catch, devouring the bird in a fervor that only rogues seemed to understand - some cat would take your prey, go ahead and savor it - Bone then realized the smell of many cats seemed to permeate this area. It was obviously some time of border, namely, the border to Roseclan. Noting that no cats seemed to be present, the cream cat continued to devour until he'd eaten the entire catch - feathers, bones and all. Then he sat, licking his paw and swiping it across his scarred brown face. It had always been a type of hobby for him to interact with the cats of the clans he crossed. For awhile he'd wanted to join one, but that had faded with the scorn he had faced from the so called warrior residence. However, it was possible for that urge to be rekindled. That was, if he ever met true warriors like the ones he had heard in tales from his late mother rather so than those pathetic examples he kept running into.

Vervainclaw ♀|| Warrior ||27 moons||→Birchfoot

Despite being deputy, she didn't know him very well due to his harder personality; even now he seemed reluctant to her company. She tried to hide her mild disappointment however and gave him a faint smile instead. "Lichenstorm is in camp to help guard the apprentices and queens, I'm sure all will be fine once a few cats blow off some steam." Aware the hot headed words between the leader figures and a meer warrior was putting everyone on edge, he was probably feeling it on a higher level since he was the one involved.

Wintersong
The she-cat shrugged guessing the deputy didn't see her behind him, quickly following along the two and meeting with the deputy's pace."You don't mind if I follow along?".Her voice soft looking at both of them with a warm glow in her eyes.

        BIRCHFOOT
He was definitely a little distant, especially now. The she was merely trying to talk, and here he was again, almost distancing himself. Birchfoot eventually shook his head, looking to the cat yet again as she started to speak. "I hope so." He gave a meow of agreement, looking ahead of him. At this point he hoped she wasn't all that intimidated due to his rather harsh fall out this morning with Sorrelstorm. The cat was terrible with his anger. It was that obvious. He eventually sighed to himself, unsure of what to say. "So," He started,"I was going hunting previously, though perhaps would you like to join me on a border patrol?" He suggested. His attention was then adverted to another cat, not entirely expecting it. "Oh, Wintersong." He started, looking behind him,"Not at all."

        APPLEHEART
The queen woke up with a yawn, figuring she woke up a little to late for her tastes. Oh well. There was nothing wrong with curling up in a nice warm nest. One of the more simpler things in clan-life, but Appleheart really enjoyed it. After a while of stretching, she slowly padded toward the fresh kill pile, snagging a magpie before she retreated to a nice sunny rock, curling up.

{{probably two or three kits.

Her ears prick slightly at Wintersong, nodding slightly since Birchfoot spoke up before she did. The other she-cat was also a bit of a stranger to her, but she didn't say anything out loud about it. "I'm better with border patrols, but I'll follow your lead..!" Not doubting the three of them would take any duty at this point, but her bright personality would be shadowed by the other two cats easily...

Mistheart traveled swiftly through the trees, his petite body weaving in and out of narrow passages through the tall trees, his mouth remaining parted as the search continued. After about 20 foxleaps, he finally stumbled upon the elusive Burdock Root. Now, for the difficult part - digging them up. Part of the russian blue wanted company, someone to assist him in this rather tedious, methodical task. But part of him said no, it was best for everyone to be doing their own thing right about now. Darn, that argument had truly messed up the flow of this particular morning. Sighing, Mistheart got down and started digging. After only two harvests his paws where sweating enough to saturate moss. Ugh. After he'd gotten five pieces Mistheart stopped, and licked his saturated black paw pads. Collecting the roots by the tops the russian blue padded towards the camp. Luckily, on the way he found some Borage leaves. Perfect for Appleheart, considering she's expecting her kits soon. Oh! I should grab a nice sturdy stick while I'm out as well. Finding one, Mistheart crammed it in his maw, looking rather comical as he was carrying quite a few stalks of borage and thick, knotty roots to top off his load. As soon as he arrived at the camp Mistheart made a beeline for his den, dropping the stuff off. It would take a while to sort it all, especially that large stick. Deciding to grab a snack, as he had completely forgotten about his mouse during the argument earlier, Mistheart slipped out of his den, spotting Appleheart. "Good morning Appleheart," Mistheart mewed warmly, grabbing a squirrel and jumping on a nice, warm rock just above the expecting queen. After his stressful and tedious morning he was more than happy to oblige in a nice, cordial conversation rather than try and ignore what had occurred earlier by making himself work even harder. "How are you feeling?"

(I just thought it would be good to mention considering your cat is blind, if you happen to run into spirit, you would smell lavender- like extremely strong lavender.)

Spirit

~*Molly-16 moons-Loner*~

After crossing the border into the wilderness, she resumed her stealthy nature. Her paw steps made no sound as she maneuvered around any branches twigs or stiff patches of grass that would crunch under her weight. She bit her lip slightly and looked back behind her to the border, the tom now out of sight. She failed to mention to him that she had been in this territorys outskirts for sometime now, and even inside it. She always stayed in the trees and examined the clans activity. Never once was she caught of course due to her knack at being silent and quick...Though she would never note a couple times she was nearly caught by a nosy apprentice walking aimlessly around the woods.
She huffed slightly and continued walking before stopping a the sight of a good climbing tree. She began scaling it with ease before perching on one of the branches as if a sparrow. She felt far safer in the trees...dogs could not get her....neither could foxes or badgers. She hasn't seen any twolegs out here either...They /are/ pretty far from civilization, but she did go through a city and a highway to get through to hit forest. When she finally found the foliage of pine she traveled as far as she could. First two clans at each others throats was the first she ran into. They apparently hated cats like her and after a swift beating sent her off. Another was a bit kinder, but the leaders actions disgusted her. After days past of nothing but unowned territory she stumbled upon this little area. The roses were a nice ascetic, she only hoped humans would never find this place, they would ruin it...like they do everything. Instead of going head long in like she always did, she decided it would be better if she scoped the situation before getting involved. She tested the waters by hunting in their territory and leaving the remains of her food in their to see how they would react to get no big stir up. She was mildly disappointed to say the least. It was almost as if she was trying to start something...which she was....not in a sense to throw the clan into turmoil, but to see how they react to a stranger in their territory.

She closed her eyes and balanced on the branch before lounging on it. Perhaps this would be a good time for a nap...

Her hackles rose and she looked up. She heard....something...not a voice, but movement. she pulled herself back up and directed her ears forward, listening intently A crows caw was cut short and warning calls from its fellow comrades began to sound off deeper in the wilderness. Those noisy birds then took to the air, seeing only a few for a few moments before disappearing over the treetops. She returned her gaze to the ground, waiting for whatever threat it could be...to show itself.

Honeypaw looked to his mentor with a grin of relief "Forest please, I would rather not have thorns pulled out of my butt again thank you" he chuckled, waving his fluffy tail as if to dismiss a past memory

Wintersong
The she-cat gave a soft smile."Thank you.".She said quietly under her breath before looking over at Vervainclaw."Good morning, wait no. Good Afternoon, Vervainclaw." She gave the she-cat a soft purr before turning her head away, to continue walking with the two cats.

Deertail
The tom gave a short chuckle and started padding out of camp."You lead." His voice crackled as he looked over at the younger tom.

        BIRCHFOOT
Perhaps Birchfoot's patrol had worked out. At first it definitely hadn't, but now he had somehow managed to get two cats to join along with him. He was still waiting for Vervainclaw's answer, though perhaps she was thinking about it. They had a while to do all of this, so there wasn't a real rush, or at least, that's what he tried to remind himself. As soon as he got her answer, he shrugged. "Border patrol it is." He spoke, giving the tiniest of smiles, continuing to walk, now in the direction of the border.

        APPLEHEART
The she-cat soon began to lazily eat away at the prey she snagged prior, allowing her pelt to fully soak up the morning sunlight. She was definitely expecting her kits soon. She didn't necessarily know how soon, though she might as well enjoy the sunlight before she had to keep a watchful eye constantly, which was something she was perfectly fine with, mind you. A voice had drawn her out of her slight daze, and her head jerked toward the cat, immediately recognizing it as Mistheart. "Oh, hello Mistheart!" She purred, her usual cheery-tone. "I'm fine, I suppose." She replied to the medicine cat, her eyes straying from him for a few moments as she peered around the camp.

Honeypaw nodded slowly before taking the lead as instructed. He did not go too far from camp, but just far enough to not be bothered with cats going in and out of camp. He blinked and looked around before taking a wiff of the air. If there was one thing he was good at, it was picking up scents and finding things most cats would not. It often helped him help find things for Mistheart. He frowned shortly after thinking about the tom again. He really had to try and make Mistheart proud. His parents were a bit aloof in raising them, which probably is why he did not take any mind in slacking off or following the code. Mistheart may have been what he needed to get on track. He exhaled, after picking up multiple scents and looked to Deertail "I smell a squirrel...a bird and a couple vole...Which would you prefer me to go after?"
