Greystar awkwardly padded over to Mudpaw. 'Spottedstep has temporarily retired from the leader position. I am the temporary leader.' He explained.

Appleblaze stretched her long limbs and looked around the camp at the awakening cats. She groomed herself quickly and looked over at Moonsong who was adjusting her eyes to the sun.

"Can't you just hide right now I just opened my eyes," she hissed at the sun and then closed her eyes again to get rid of the pain in her eyes.
