Silverwillow laughed. "Yeah, right@" She exclaimed, then raced away. Soon, she slowed to a stop, snatching up a small mouse in her jaws, delivering the killing bite, then continuing on.

(@Froggie1, when do you think Cloudstar could receive the prophecy? Do you think Juniperberry should receive it as well?)

Juniperberry was sorting herbs in her den. She learned that they were low on juniper berries, poppy seeds, and marigold. We're low on poppy seeds because the kits ate them and disobeyed me.. she thought, a bit irritated.

Littlekit looked over at Fawnkit, scowling. "Do you think we are going to be punished badly?" he asked his sister in concern.

Pebblestep arrived at the entrance of the nursery as if on cue. "Yes, you are. You should be ashamed of yourself." he meowed sternly, looking at each kit's expression then proceeding. "Your apprentice ceremony will be pushed back a moon. Ashenkit will become an apprentice before you."

Fireblaze overheard Pebblestep and winced. That was a bit harsh... but the kits did deserve it. The tom walked over to the fresh kill pile and picked up a mouse.

Fawnkit's jaw dropped. "Dad, no! Please! Cloudstar wouldn't let you!" she yowled, but Larkfur hushed her.

Thunderleap rolled his eyes playfully. "I'll catch sommet bigger," he muttered to himself after she had left. Quickly, he spotted a squirrel, so crouched. He leapt, landing square on it. He nipped its neck easily.

Juniperberry blinked in surprise. Had Sootstep not gathered some poppy seeds... last she checked, she remembered the other medicine cat getting some. Juniperberry looked back at the herb supply and nodded as she found some. Now I only need to gather marigold and juniper berries... that makes my job a lot easier. she thought and looked at Sootstep. "Would you like to come gather some herbs with me?"

Littlekit glared at Oakkit. Littlekit was the one to insist they head back but noN they hadn't listened. He knew his brother was lying, and it was very annoying. He looked back up at his father and frowned.

Pebblestep shrugged simply. "He was the one to suggest it. Have fun becoming an apprentice later than your sister." he meowed, very annoyed.

Fawnkit grumbled, stomping her paw. "I can't stay in this nursery! Maybe I'll become a loner, see if you can stop me!" she meowed, glaring at her father. Larkfur snapped, "Hush, Fawnkit! You will do no such thing!"
