She quickly followed the shecat through the forest. Maybe she would finally make a friend today. Not many cats in the clan liked her because she was from Shadowclan.

Ravenfeather started running faster, before scaling a tree. She sat on one of the branches and looked around for prey.

She sped up her pace, but stayed on the ground, hidden in a patch of ferns. Her icy gaze scanned the clearing until she spotted a vole nearby. She quietly got into a crouch and stalked forward slowly. All of a sudden, she was in the air and then on top of the vole. She snapped its neck, ending it quickly. She picked it up in her jaws, her eyes burning with a cheerful gaze.

Ravenfeather sat down and licked a paw. "Good catch."

"Thanks!" She was happy to get praise from her clanmate.

Ravenfeather nodded and turned quickly, before jumping from branch to branch and dissapearing up ahead.
