Jelani wandered about, stomach growling and no easy prey in sight. Heck, scraps would even do wonders right now. Perking up at the smell of a fresh kill, he followed after it until he spotted another lion (kiloh) dragging a gazelle carcass. Surely he wouldn't mind if he took just a small bite...

The rogue flicked his ears for a moment, looking around to make sure no one else had been called over before walking up to him. "You're not.. chasing me out?" Honestly, this was a surprise. Typically, his "warm welcome" would be some aggravated lion or lioness chasing him away from the pride.

Kila nodded. "Yea. I wonder how it's gonna be when we have cubs. It will drive us nuts."

Kiloh shook his head. "Not yet. You haven't done anything that is worthy of being chased out. Now why are you here though?"

Sefu turned his head back around as he saw one of the lionesses nod to him before she peered inside the den. Looking at his babysitter, he got up and padded down the small path from Pride Rock to the ground below. He would explore. It was better than sitting here and being bored.

Looks -(Picture Or Description): She has dark brown fur. Her paws, tail tuft, chest, belly and bottom jaw are white. She has a pink nose, the inside of her ears are tan, and she has green eyes. A piece of her left ear is torn out and she has a few scars from a dark past.
Personality: Zuri is strict and all about order and discipline. When she is not hunting for her niece and herself or she isn't chasing after her niece, Zuri is training Chasiku in hunting and fighting. She distrusts Pridelanders with a passion and is extremely protective of her niece. Loyal to her brother and her mother's memory, Zuri has done her best to step in and raise Chasiku after her sister-in-law died. Zuri is not afraid of going into the Pridelands to hunt for food and is quite the hunter and fighter despite her somewhat skinny size. Zuri would like to have cubs again and possibly a mate but has yet to come across an Outlander who has not betrayed her family in the past or shunned her once they find out the secret her family carries. Although she remains hopeful, with each month that passes, she begins to resign herself more and more that she will never find that special lion or have more cubs. So that is why she is protective over her niece and so harsh in Chasuki's training. Underneath, she is kind, but all one sees is her cold exterior and nobody thinks to look beneath that exterior to see the kind and devoted lioness underneath who worries she will lose everything dear to her and will shame her mother. She learned early on after her mother's death and a brief stint in a prison by another pride that kindness never gets you anywhere in life.
