Rainpaw nodded, looking a bit nervous. "R-right... I will."

Splashpelt decided less was more in this search party. Nodding as he passed Crimsonwing. Padding into the forest it very quickly turned from smoke stained leaves to absolutely nothing. Only bare trunks after a few fox lengths. He was glad the last layer of brush was hiding his clan from the damage some of the younger cats might be devistated. He almost regretted bringing Rainpaw. But he has faith in the young cat. He hoped Streamthroat was nowhere near this destruction. Padding onward he skirted the still burning embers. Placing his paws carefully into the layer of ash. Ears pricked for any signs of life all he heard was distant crackles. It was eerie

Rainpaw
Rainpaw almost silently continued on. He looked around at the devastation, shuddering slightly. Cherrypaw had run off into this; where could she be?

Thornpelt
Thornpelt stood up, "Let's get back to the others. They need their medicine cat", he meowed. The tom slowly hobbled back.
Riversong
"I'm very proud of you for doing that", she purred to Dawnpaw, "Even some of the bravest warriors are to scared to admit they were in the wrong of things"
Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw nodded, "Well, I'd hate to see you go. Do you have someone to get back to?", he asked the she-cat.

Nightstar
Nightstar followed after the medicine cat. "Well, it seems even our medicine cat needs a medicine cat," he joked.

Dawnpaw
"I just thought about how cross Beryl would have been with me," Dawnpaw said with a slight giggle. "That scared me straight, I'll tell you what."

Thornpelt
Thornpelt chuckled, "Yes, indeed. Well, maybe Cranepaw can go fetch herbs while I treat the wounds", he meowed.
Riversong
Riversong nodded, "That's a very good motivation", she replied, "Why don't you go talk with your fellow apprentices", the she-cat replied, happy to see that Dawnpaw's spirit had raised a little.

"I believe he already headed off in search of cobweb for you..." Nightstar mused.

Dawnpaw
Dawnpaw looked up at her mentor, her eyes gleaming. She nodded enthusiastically before running off to find some of her fellow apprentices.

  [x]--"Y-you c-could teach me?" he practically squeaked, excitedly swishing his tail. His eyes initially gleamed with excitement when Honeypaw had told him that, although it faded just a tad bit when Honeypaw had shook her head in a critical way. He couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt as he listened to what Honeypaw had said afterwards, slightly regretting telling her that he didn't know how to fish; was that a bad thing? Was it bad he wasn't shown how? She's been an apprentice for like, one more moon than me, he told himself, maybe catching fish isn't something you learn until later? Snakepaw realized he was being a bit awkwardly quiet now, and so tried to think of something to ask quickly that was related to fishing. "I-is catching fish e-easy?" was what he settled on asking, head cocking to the side a bit as though to emphasis his question.

  [x]--Cranepaw watched as Dawnpaw left, slightly glad that the awkward confrontation was over. He looked back at the fish once more, prodding it with a paw and wondering if he should eat it. I'm not hungry, he decided as he first picked up the cobwebs, and then the fish. I'll give it to Thornpelt, or something, he decided as he quickly looked around for his mentor, spotting him near Nightstar.

Making his way towards the two cats, he initially walked but soon broke off into more or less a hurried jog of some sort. He eventually made it to the two, gaze darting from the leader to the medicine cat as though he were trying to decide who to look at while talking. "I got—..." he began, realizing his voice was muffled once more by the fan in his mouth. Quickly placing the webs and the fish onto the ground, he started up with his sentence once more. "I got cobweb," he said, gesturing with his tail towards the general area next to him where he'd placed the webs. "I got them for your... your wound," he said to Thornpelt, diverting his attention to his mentor's shoulder. "But... I guess that you specifically don't need it? Since that's... not bleeding... and stuff," he said, voice drifting off as he awkwardly coughed. "Uh, point is, I got cobweb."

Honeypaw
"W-well, yeah," Honeypaw mewed, sensing that she had caused the only slightly younger apprentice some concern. "Look, I, uh... It's fine if your mentor hasn't taught you. My mentor only recently taught me. It's not something they focus on." The she-cat mewed awkwardly. "I was, um, just joking about that. Catching fish isn't really that difficult... Besides, Nightstar is your mentor, right? He, um... Is really bad at catching fish."

"Ah. Thornpelt, as your apprentice has arrived, I shall leave you two be to plan your course of action." The leader headed off.

Splashpelt was at least happy that the young cat had ran off when the fire was dieing. For he still could see a few impressions in the soot here and there. Flicking his tail toward them so Rainpaw could see "Are those Cherrypaw's?" He asked in a hushed tone feeling as if normal volume would echo on forever. Waiting for a reply he jumped up onto some near by bolders to get a better lay of the land taking in a deep breath he almost gaged at the scent. It had been covered by smoke smell but this close to the rocks it was potent. Looking around for whatever was making that horrid smell he looked down. And what he found caused him to jump back off the rock and hiss in horror. It was Streamthroat. She had most of her fur thanks to the protection of the rocks. But her once beautiful silver and white fur was stained with soot and crimson. Still fluffed up he looked at Rainpaw regretting bringing him here. "Let's skirt around the rocks and find Cherrypaw shall we" he said his voice breaking as he tried to keep calm. He would come back for the she-cat on the way back.

Juniper curled her tail around her paws "Not really. Unless you count Ramsey that is. He shares my territory from time to time but otherwise I live on my own." She said thinking fondly of the cat who raised her seeing him as more of a parent than her actual ones. The fact that he did share her blood was a bonus
