Thornpelt stopped, "Thank you Nightstar", he huffed. By now, his shoulder had stopped bleeding. But all the strain he was putting on it made it begin to ache badly.

Juniper shook her head "I don't think I would be welcome for too long. Once I see Thistlestep on his paws again I'm probably going to go home. And any cat would help I just happened to be at the right place at the right time" she said looking at her white paws remembering how she happened apon the wondering tom. She had watched the humans start the fire and decided to head along the clans territories to inspect the damage done. Then she saw a singed and bloody cat hobble out of the smoke and flames. Looking back up at Ravenclaw she smiled "Thank you and your clan for letting me stay with a full coat of fur" she added

  [x]--Snakepaw nodded, wondering if he should tell her what his name as a kitypet was. "I-I think mine w-was something l-like..." he thought for a moment, trying to remember what his name was. He was pretty sure it started with an "L" sound, but he wasn't sure; after a few more heartbeats of thinking, the tabby finally remembered. "...L-Leo...?" He spoke with uncertainty at first, before deciding that he was right. "Y-yeah, I think it was L-Leo..."

Nightstar silently waited for Thornpelt to say his goodbye.

Dawnpaw picked the fish up. She went over to Cranepaw and dropped the fish. "Um... Here. For if or when you're hungry." She looked at the ground. "I'm sorry for snapping at you..."

Honeypaw
Honeypaw gave her fellow apprentice a small smile. "That's a cool name," she giggled. "I'm glad you told me."

Watching as most of the flames died down Splashpelt stood up with a stretch. "Rainpaw. Do you still want to come and seach with Ms?" He asked knowing that both cats the apprentice knew closely where accounted for. Looking over at Thistlestep he frowned. The large Tom still needed to be seen by a medicine cat. Blood still oozeing from his wounds. At least he seemed to be asleep. Looking back at the apprentice he waited for the answer thinking about who to bring with him.

"Who are we searching for?" Rainpaw asked quietly. "Is someone still... Oh, Cherrypaw! She ran off earlier..."

  [x]--"I-is it...?" he mewed curiously, before repeating his name quietly a few times. "I-I guess it is... Missy's a n-nice name, too, it h-has a nice ring to it." He shuffled his paws a few times, wondering where else he could take this conversation. "Do you... d-do you know how to catch fish...?" he questioned, deciding to change the topic. "I don't... I w-wanna learn how to, though... I-I mean, we're g-gonna have to eat it f-for the next few sunrises, so... I guess I might as w-well learn..."

  [x]--His ears pricked up as he heard pawsteps heading his way. He looked in the general direction of the source of the noise, quickly being greeted with the sight of the other apprentice who'd lashed out at him earlier coming towards him. He thought for a moment that maybe she was coming back in order to start yowling again, but that thought was quickly pushed out of his mind as he saw the fish held in her jaws. He watched as she plopped the fish towards his paws, and was genuinely surprised when she apologized for snapping at him. Whenever he acted like a complete jerk to some cat, he usually didn't get an apology... this was a first. A pang of guilt ran through him, which was an odd thing for Cranepaw; had his words been too harsh?

  "...I should--..." he began, before realizing his voice was muffled by the cobwebs still held in his mouth. He was about to spit them out onto the ground, but decided against it at the last minute and settled on placing it lightly on the ground next to him. He cleared his throat, before looking back towards Dawnpaw. "I should be the one apologizing," he insisted. "That last thing I said was... it was bad, and..." he awkwardly looked around. He wasn't used to apologizing; he hadn't really done it so often. "Ugh, I'm bad at apologizing, I... I'm sorry for, you know, being a... fox-hearted kit." Cranepaw felt weird about apologizing and just generally not being bad-tempered, at least not for these very few moments; the last time he recalled being as sympathetic as he was right now was before he had to take the role of a medicine cat. "...thanks for the fish, by the way..."

Honeypaw nodded enthusiastically. "Catching fish isn't that hard. I can show you, if you'd like!" The she-cat shook her head, almost in a critical way. "You would think your mentor would have taught you that in case of emergency."

Dawnpaw
Dawnpaw shook her head. "Thanks for apologizing, but no matter what I shouldn't have snapped at you. It's... Unbecoming of any Clan cat to let their emotions get the best of their judgment." The she-cat looked rather awkward due to the situation. "Um... You're welcome. Since we'll be stuck eatin only fish for awhile, it would be best we all start getting more used to it." She grinned playfully. "Bye, Cranepaw!" She ran back over to Riversong.

Splashpelts ears flattened for a moment. An apprentice was out there? That was no good. "Yes we can look for her but we also need to find Streamthroat" he hummed thoughtfully. "Stay close" he said.
