His response was a light smile, and he shifted his gaze to focus on his clanmates, before his mentor asked him a question that was puzzling. He looked at her, confusion sparked in his eyes. Perhaps she was trying to fool around with him? He forced himself to chuckle a little, "My training has indeed been well. Although I don't think my current mentor would be very pleased if I was assigned to another mentor." He felt a little amused, so he continued. "It would be nice if my mentor took me out to hunt or something." He shrugged, not so subtle when he hinted that he wanted to go train.

Smokepaw! Where are you? She felt her claws digging into the soft earth and she took a moment to take in some air. Her eyes flicked around wildly, and she realized that the territory was no longer familiar to her. She focused on the young tom before her, not breaking her gaze out of fear of what could happen. "Mosspaw..." She mumbled, "Who..are you?" She felt herself shrink down as he moved closer. Mosspaw felt the blood roar in her ears, and her heart felt as if it would beat out of her chest.

The female smiled softly. He always was brash, and blunt, and passive-aggressive... But she was perfectly fine with it. If he wished to be the best, he had to be motivated, it was best that way. "Well, if you've been trained so well, and you want to go out for a hunt, why dont we see what you can do. I'll be right behind you, now go catch a few things to eat."

The male took a single small step backwards. The discomfort of the she-cat was almost a pleasure to him, but he didnt want that pleasure to run away, particularly where it was in clan territory. Sitting back onto his haunches, he allowed his pink tongue to roll over his lips, and his ears to twitch once. "Crow, Mossy, you can call me Crow." His eyes appeared to not move from her own, even as she cowered and hesitated. It was quite amusing. "Tell me, Mossy, what you doing so far from home? There are some cats out here who would kill for a chance to, well, kill a clan cat."

He lit up, similar to a kit's first trip into the forest. He nodded, "I will!" His chest fur puffed out slightly, and he turned to trot into the forest. His ears were perked forward and he paused to scent the air. The grey tom's ear twitched as he heard scuffling amongst the undergrowth. He lowered himself to the ground and silently stalked forward. Focusing on the prey, he noticed it was a mouse. Once in a close enough range, he shot forward, pouncing on it and swiftly killing it. He picked it up and looked over his shoulder, trying to look for his mentor.

She did a mental double take, hearing him mouth the word 'Crow'. All the blood that was pulsating through her stopped and everything in her body seemed to freeze at the name. She looked at the tom more closely, and her mind flooded with flashbacks from when she was a rogue. Crow? Crow?? The name repeated in her head, I killed him! He can't be alive! It wasn't noticeable, but the blood flushed from her face, and she felt sick looking at the feline before her. "...Crow?" That was her only answer; she was too fixated on that to reply anything else.

The female followed close behind him, and watched his technique curiously. The majority of it was right, he scented the mouse first, and stalked it accordingly, but something seemed a little off about it. Catching up the the male, she clucked her ton gue a little bit, shrugging her shoulders. "Good job, you caught one mouse. A fat, stupid, singular mouse. A rabbit or squirrel would have heard you well before, and ran, and gotten away." She paused, looking down at the smaller tom. "Tell me, can you smell anything else out here? Something you havent already scared off?"

Te male's brow raised a bit, and his ears twitched some. He had grown a bit, was more muscular and taller than he used to be. "Yes Mossy, Crow, like Caw Caw, the black birdies." He chuckled to himself, slowly bringing a forepaw up to his maw, and licking it ever so gently. His eyes still did not leave her body. "Do I know you, Mossy? Your whole... Terrified of everything including the name Crow... It seems oddly familiar."

His ears flicked as he held the mouse. He thought of quiet down his hunter's crouch. The grey cat nodded, then dug a small hole and gently put his mouse down in it. He stopped to scent the air, not detecting anything on the ground around them. "What about something in a tree?" He looked up and noticed a squirrel perched in a tree branch. "I can catch one of those if you'd like."

She gulped, not sure whether or not she should tell the cat. She broke her gaze for a moment, before taking a cautious step forward. She slowly stretched her neck to try to take in his scent. She then abruptly drew back her head and body, retreating to her position. She didn't say a word. She was confused, scared and hostile all at the same time, and probably could explode any moment given the chance. Was this cat her for we friend? She could've sworn that she remembered the dark colored body go limp.

(Her past makes this encounter very interesting)

She smiled slightly at the prospect of watching him chase at the squirrel in the tree, and ultimately decided it wasn't an entirely bad idea. "Alright, as long as you stay safe, keep all four paws on the trunk of the tree at one time, and don't fall. At some point later we will practice climbing, but for now, don't die." She stopped, and seated herself, looking at the ton somewhat expectantly.

"Woah, Mossy, you're starting to freak me out." The young male stood up, watching the frantic and practically uncontrolled movements of the female, his brow raised in slight confusion. "I'm not actually a crow, I can't fly." He was desperately trying to make light in the situation, as his ears twitched a top his head. He didn't think he knew any clan cats...

Batpaw remained stock still for the briefest of seconds as he awaited the warrior's response. A bit of discomfort took root in his stomach, as the silence stretched out. Batpaw could 'sense' Eden's piercing gaze on him, which by no means helped his temporary unease. For a moment, he wondered if he had made a foolish mistake like he had in his earlier days, when he was still adjusting to being blind. However, it was much more serious than that. When Eden hesitantly asked if he could at least vocally advise his apprentice, the tall black tom's face visibly contorted to a mixture of mild exasperation and respect. He could fully understand the desire to help, even if it wasn't physical. He respected it even moreso... especially after his first 'group'. However, it was his job to make sure when this fierce desire to protect and progress overrided the desire to obey the physical signs to slow down, that the individual wasn't permanently marred. Can I hold him at his word of nothing physical? We'll see.

"Very well. You may," Batpaw said, his long black tail tip twitching. He resumed his apathetic facial expression, however, he spoke slow, his raspy voice nearly a hiss as he emphasized every word. "But you must remain in camp, and keep pressure off your paw by sitting or laying down. If you want owlpaw to go hunting outside of camp, have another warrior supervise him. If I see you even half-attempting a demonstration of any sort or stwpping just foxleap out of camp.." Batpaw inhaled, his voice something beyond a grating rasp now - his throat was dry and actually hurting from all this talk, easily the most he had done in a moon - "You'll be confined to the this den until you are fully healed. Do I make myself clear?" Batpaw stated, narrowed his scarred orbs at the hurt warrior.

Dapplepaw beamed upon hearing her mentor's statement, her embarrassment fading, quickly being replaced by her earlier enthusiasm. I am lucky to have such a great mentor! Glancing towards the leader, she noted he was in no rush and their was no sign "Now," she mewled excitedly, darting towards the entrance. Onwards to see the territory in all its dawn glory! "Please," the tortie molly added, realizing that in she had temporarily forgotten her manners. Dapplepaw shifted from paw to paw eagerly as she waited for mentor at the camp entrance.

"Good morning, Brightstar," Foxclaw said with a warm smile, dipping his head slightly in greeting to the younger leader before taking a bite out of his mouse. "Not at all," the orange tabby said, shifting to give Brightstar room to jump on the rocks. "Is anything amiss?" the senior warrior questioned cordially, taking another bite out of his mouse whilst keeping his half-closed amber eyes fixed his leader.

He smiled calmly at her good nature and padded after the young apprentice, a bit jealous she could make friends so easily with that attitude. He'd never been good at making friends since his proper nature often made him back off easily. It was hard to get emotionally attached to someone else when you were too afraid of offending them. "Alright, but keep your nose up. The clan needs prey just as much as it needs good warriors." The tom meows, glad today looked like it'd be somewhat warm.

Listening, she dips her head with hopes her apprentice would soon become a young warrior. "Yessir!" Trying to feel excited for him, but it was always sad to be together for so long and have to split up. A proud but sad moment, Silverpaw should be happy but she had her doubts. Shifting and padding over to her apprentice, she ginger she-cat forces a half smile to greet him. "Morning Silverpaw..."

He nodded, "I'll try not to." She chuckled quietly to himself, before approaching a tree. He unsheathed his claws, and dug them into the bark, hauling himself up the tree. He felt excitement pulsing through out his body, and e continued the climb, keeping his eye on the squirrel while trying to be as quiet as possible. He stepped gently onto the branch, inching towards the creature. His weight caused the branch to creak, and the squirrel hopped into another tree in fright. He started to pursue the squirrel bust stopped himself. The branch that the squirrel escaped to seemed rather frail, and would never hold his weight. As a result, he gave up the hunt from there, looking down at his mentor. "How do I get down?" He yelled, unsure.

How do I get back to camp? I don't know which way Sunclan territory is! "..What..what do you want with me?" She asked, tail spiked. Could she be hallucinating? Why was this cat even bothering with her? Was it really her old friend? Ears back and whiskers twitching, she let her mottled fur fluff up defensively. (Wb)

(The crow from her past became corrupt and was killed by her, leading to her traumatized and jumpy personality, so it's ok. But if you really wanted to have him be the crow from her past, then I'm fine with it, just let me know)

Lark song muttered and laughed under her breath, shaking her head a bit before she turned up to her apprentice. "Go back towards the trunk of the tree, the biggest fattest part, and then shimmy down butt first, slowly."

The tom shook his head, ears twitching as he looked over the she-cat. "Look, I don't know you. I'm not from around here, I've never really had any friends at all." He paused for a moment, taking a step towards her, gently. "I just wanted to have a bit of fun, but I have some nice stored up in an old badger den if you'd like to have one." A small smile drew back on his lips... Whether sincere or not, it was yet to be determined.
