The dilute white she-cat with black speckles woke up in her mossy nest in the warriors' den. She squinted her blue eyes at the brightness of the sun that shone through the entrance of the den. After sitting in her nest, and adjusting to being awake for a few minutes, Frostbite padded from the den into the camp clearing. Her long, fluffy tail trailed after her, and curled around her paws as she took a seat near the prey pile. She selected a small mouse, and began to eat it with her ears pricked forward alertly. Most cats wouldn't have eaten anything until they hunted, but she frankly didn't care what the other cats thought of her.

The blind grey tabby lifted up his head as he woke up. The scent of the elder's den filled his nose as he was reassured that he was still there. He was determined to go get a piece of prey by himself. The tom was constantly setting goals for himself and working hard to achieve them. Rainstorm sat up and started to pad from the den, carefully brushing along the side so the he was able to find the entrance. Once he found the entrance he headed towards the fresh prey pile, making it along dandily until he tripped over another cat, The tom stumbled away blindly and licked his chest fur to try to hide his embarrassment. ''Pardon me, I didn't mean to trip over you,'' the tom said nervously.

The dark orange tabby was woken from her slumber as Batecho carelessly made his way out of the den. The black and white tom had stepped on her tail, and she let out a sharp, angry hiss. ''Watch what you're doin', you Mousbrain,'' she yelled out drowsily as she stepped away from her nest, and out into open camp. Her green gaze drifted over camp, and she laid down in a sunny patch of camp where cats wouldn't trip over her. She laid her head down on her front paws, and she watched the others in camp.

The pretty, calico she-cat yawned and stretched out her front paws, looking around the apprentices' den. She climbed from her nest, and shook out her pelt to rid herself of any dirt that may have been still clinging to her fur. Mothpaw padded from the den, and sat down a few paw paces away from it. Her annoyance grew as her stomach started grumbling, but she refused to take any food from the prey pile until she went hunting and caught something. She let out a small sigh as she curled her tail around her paws.

The black and white tom had been awake for a while, but he didn't bother getting up until he was sure that the rest of his clanmates were out and about. Batecho made his way out of the den recklessly, and he accidentally stepped on Flaresong's tail. He exited the den without looking back, and he could hear her cursing him from inside the den. His blue glare fixed on the first cat that he noticed in camp, and he went out of his way to be intimidating, He didn't particularly want to fight with one of his clanmates, but he wanted them to fear him.

Ranta made his way into the forest with a confident stride. The red tom seemed much more on edge than he usually was. Ranta wouldn't even waste the energy to be worried on any other normal today, but today was different. He was going to explore in the forest that was located near his house. Some of the other cats that he'd met had told him of wild cats that lived here, but Ranta had been extremely skeptical of this. On the other hand, some of the other cats had believed the stories, they warned him that this was a terrible idea. ''Ranta, this is another one of your harebrained ideas that's going to get you into trouble. Just go back,'' a silent voice repeatedly screamed in his head. ''Don't be a scaredy-kitten. There aren't any cats in the forest anyways,'' Ranta muttered quietly to keep his never under control. The red tom noticed a tree that leaned to the side and he climbed part way up it to get a good look around the territory.
